Alles in allem eine Unterkunft mit sehr freundlichem Gastgeber und einigen schönen Details, aber für das, was geboten wi

Der Gastgeber war ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit – wirklich ein großes Plus! Auf unsere Beschwerde wegen Mücken hat er sogar direkt reagiert und während unseres Aufenthalts ein Moskitonetz über dem Bett installiert. Das nenne ich Service. Auch die liebevollen Details wie kleine Logos und Beschilderungen auf dem Gelände zeigen, dass man sich Mühe gibt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die Ausstattung mit einer richtigen Kaffeemaschine (kein Kapselautomat) und das Steinschneidebrett – kleine, aber feine Extras, die Eindruck machen.

Verbesserungspotenzial: Die Unterkunft ist insgesamt schon etwas älter, was man an einigen Stellen merkt. In der Dusche läuft das Wasser nicht optimal ab, und der Herd funktionierte zeitweise nicht zuverlässig. Zwischen den zwei Zimmern gibt es zudem keine Tür, was für manche Gäste wichtig sein könnte. Auch die Kaffeemaschine selbst müsste gründlicher gereinigt werden (vor allem der Einsatz zum Befüllen), da dieser etwas gerochen hat. Ein Staubsauger wäre ebenfalls praktisch, da sich Schmutz auf dem Steinboden mit dem Besen nur schwer entfernen lässt. Negativ: Was wirklich schade war: Es wird nirgends erwähnt, dass man für die Anfahrt besser ein SUV oder Geländewagen nutzen sollte. Der Weg ist in sehr schlechtem Zustand und alles andere als für normale Fahrzeuge geeignet. Unser Auto ist dabei sogar aufgesetzt und wurde stark beschädigt. Diese Information wäre für Gäste im Voraus extrem wichtig.

Die Unterkunft war wunderschön gelegen, in den grünen Hügeln der Toskana. Alles ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und komfortabel.

A breathtaking retreat in the Ligurian hills — Casa Valle Verde was the highlight of our trip.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay — Casa Valle Verde was an absolute gem. Tucked away on a private vineyard with panorama views of the scenic Liguria region, the setting was both peaceful and breathtaking. It was the perfect place to unwind after visiting the more touristy coastal towns of Cinque Terre. The suite was spotless and beautifully decorated, with fresh wildflower bouquets in each room and stunning views of the valley and vineyard. Imma and Marius, our hosts, were incredibly gracious and welcoming. They met us outside upon arrival, along with their friendly dog, Loola. A chilled bottle of complimentary wine awaited us, which we enjoyed on the patio that evening. We truly wished we could have stayed longer and explored the nearby hiking trails. The suite is fully equipped and ideal for enjoying a meal while taking in the stunning views. This was our favorite stop of the entire trip, and we hope we’ll have the chance to return someday from Canada and Switzerland. Thank you, Imma and Marius, for such a wonderful stay!
