We did not stay and got alternative accommodation

We did not end up staying there due to a number of reasons.

Access to the property is down a very narrow road, we could not turn around and had to back up with not much space on either side of the car. A car had been broken into the night before we were to stay there. The path (80m) from the car park was a narrow track difficult if you had large luggage. When we went inside the property there had a very damp smell that made it difficult to breath. The bedroom door to outside/ window could not be opened.

Beautiful view with maintenance backlog

-Excellent sea view -Well-functioning air conditioning -Nearby hiking trail (approx. 300 m) -Easy check-in

-Lack of water pressure, meaning that showering or using the dishwasher was not possible most of the time. -Upon arrival, the trash had not been emptied and the dishwasher was filled with dirty dishes. Considering that an additional cleaning fee is charged on top of the already above-average price, this is rather unsatisfactory. -In our opinion, the house could do with a little more care and attention. Unfortunately, the garden was also unkempt and there were various issues inside the house (a large crack in the shower floor, a broken light, a window shutter in the bedroom that cannot be opened, a broken panel on the dishwasher, etc.). For the asking price, regular maintenance should be included. -The washing machine listed in the description was missing. -The internet connection did not work during the first two days.

Absolutley beautiful, a bit far out of town, but easy if you have a car.

Absolutely stunning views from the balcony! Beautiful place to watch the sunset and share a bottle of wine.

I wouldn't call it walkable to Corniglia; it's multiple kilometers up a steep hill on a narrow road with no footpath. I was very glad we had a car to drive down and park.

Beautiful property just off the trail halfway between Corniglia and Vernazza.

Gracious, clean, well-appointed cottage away from it all.

The property is advertised as Corniglia but is actually in Prevo. One needs a car or a taxi to access the property. It is 1.2K on the blue trail between Vernazza and Corniglia. This should be better advertised when booking.

La vue

La différence entre les photos et les commentaires de l’annonce et la réalité : 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain annoncées alors qu’il n’y avait qu’une chambre + canapé convertible dans espace repas, et qu’une salle de bain + 1 WC, terrain non entretenu (herbes de 50cm, chaise longue cassée abandonnée dans un coin du terrain), crottes de rats sur lave linge, porte lave-vaisselle ne reste pas ouverte, portes meuble salle de bain ne se ferment pas, isolation entre les deux lieux de couchage non isolés phonétiquement et parois vitrées ne permettant pas l’intimité ! Aucune intervention du contact de la location pour améliorer la prestation (fauchage herbe, nettoyage crottes de rats) malgré notre demande en début de séjour.
