Apartamento Princesa Teguise

Quite apartment complex, central to everything.

Perfect location, close to everything you need such as shops, bars, restaurants and the beach but just out of the way enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The apartment was very clean, well stocked, comfortable and customer service was superb. Parking was not a problem as there were plenty of public spaces available during our stay. The apartment complex is locked away from the public which gives an extra bit of safe feeling. Also the view of the ocean during a morning coffee and evening drink is a cherry on top.

Appartement bien situé dans la ville (tout est accessible à pied : restaurants, plages, supermarchés...). Places disponibles dans la rue pour se garer. Bien équipé et très propre dans une résidence très bien entretenue et calme. Bouteille d'eau dans le frigo très appréciée à notre arrivée.

On aurait préféré finalement des équipements plus simples à utiliser car nous n'avons pas réussi à utiliser le four micro-ondes (à moins qu'il ne fonctionnait pas) et la télévision (pas d'accès aux chaines et code nécessaire pour regarder les films sur les plateformes comme netflix...), sachant que nous n'avons pas l'habitude de ce genre de programmes (on n'a juste pu accéder à Youtube). Des notices d'utilisation auraient été les bienvenues.

We liked the apartment. It had all the amenities that we needed for a comfortable, relaxing holiday. The oven was a huge bonus for us, as you don't often get one in other apartments. The washing machine also helped us. It was good to clean our towels and bed sheets during our stay. Again, this was an added bonus too, you don't always get a washing machine in other apartments that you rent through other travel operators. The booking process and communication prior to travelling were great. Everything went smoothly, and we had no issues with access. This helped as we arrived later at night. We loved the quiet, peaceful location of the apartment. I really enjoyed sitting on the terrace each morning, enjoying my breakfast and a cup of tea. The only downside is that the apartment unfortunately doesn't have any air conditioning, and we originally thought this would be OK. However, after our first nights sleep, we decided we would need a fan to keep the room cooler, and so we could sleep more comfortably. We managed to hire through a local company. I have communicated this with the owner as she asked me if it helped and is now considering getting a fan for the apartment. I explained and said that it would be a good idea, especially during the summer months. The main doors into the apartments are full-length sliding patio doors. This wasn't an issue, but may have added to the room being warm, even with the curtains closed through the day. This is another reason the fan was needed. Also, there is no cleaning service, so if booking this apartment, you need to be prepared to buy some cleaning products, toilet rolls, and washing tablets for the washing machine and keep the apartment clean yourself. This wasn't an issue for us. I swept the floors each morning due to the breeze and the little flowers from the trees. They would often blow into the room, and this was because we liked to keep the patio doors open.

There wasn't a lot that we didn't like to be honest. We had a great stay.
