About this cottage rental
An attractive and spacious cottage close to the River Eamont. With a wood burner and an enclosed garden, it lies five minutes from Pooley Bridge and the lake shore.. Ground Floor:
Living room: (2 Steps), TV, DVD Player, Woodburner
Kitchen/dining room: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine

Bedroom 3: (7 Steps), Kingsize (5ft) Bed
Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet

First Floor:
Bedroom 4: Single (3ft) Bed. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for wood burner included (September-May). Cot and highchair. Enclosed garden with elevated patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Bike store. Childrens play area. Private parking for 3 cars. No smoking. Please note: Couples and family bookings only.. These two holiday cottages (refs NP80 and NP81) are situated ½ mile from the shores of Lake Ullswater in superb surroundings. This working farm borders the River Eamont and is close to the craggy peaks of the Lakeland fells. Fells nearby include the High Street range, 1 mile, and Helvellyn, 8 miles. Penrith, 6 miles. Windermere, 13 miles. Access is via a small, private holiday park under the same ownership. Good location for peace and quiet yet only ¼ mile walk to Pooley Bridge with shops, pubs, cafés and steamer trips. Young children’s play area and small football pitch nearby. NP81 is adjacent to the owner’s quiet seasonal holiday park with no letting or sub letting. Shop, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
Garden Cottage can be booked together with Riverbank Cottage (ref NP80) and The Lodge (ref UK37562) to accomodate up to 16 guests.

Absolutely perfect winter retreat. Luxury cottage. More impressive in person than the photos show. Five minutes from lovely pooley bridge and you can see Ullswater glistening in the distance from the garden. We went over Christmas and the owners put up the most lovely tree and garland to decorated the living room. No complaints at all. We would easily go back.

Just a short walk from Pooley Bridge itself with shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants for all tastes. House was absolutely beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Will definitely be coming back for another stay.

Beautifully situated within well kept grounds, private garden space to relax.
House was clean and decluttered with hand sanitiser provided. The layout was suitable for the three 80 year olds we had with us.
Would definitely recommend and plan to return.
