🔑 While staying in our home, you will have full access to the main part of the house to include the fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, hot tub as well as the screened-in covered porch which are all private areas of the house for this listing. You may also access and used the shared laundry room with 2 other units with a full sized washer and dryer! Our goal is for you to not only make yourself at home, but to truly feel at home and at peace while staying here in OCC!
Similar to a hotel room, we rent out the master bedroom/bathroom unit which is on the other end of the house, completely separate with its own private entrance, and keyless entry to the shared laundry room, which is the only shared area.

Overall we had a very nice stay in the Pinewood Meadows house. The host was extremely attentive and responsive. The house was clean and spacious for our family of 6. The master bed was extremely firm but tolerable for the 4 nights we were there. Convenient location close to the attractions we were visiting during our stay. While the property itself met expectations, the surrounding neighborhood presented some concerns. Many homes in need of maintenance, increased security at local businesses and a noticeable homeless population in the area.I would like to note that we did not experience any specific safety issues during our stay, but heightened our sense of caution and we were not comfortable exploring the surrounding area on foot.

I had a wonderful stay. The house is very spacious. The kitchen has been updated recently. The beds have very nice linens but the mattresses are quite firm. I loved the hot tub. It was a nicer Jacuzzi brand hot tub that is excellently maintained. There are convenient places to shop that you could even walk to if necessary. The first night we arrived we got pizza from a nearby place because we were so tired. Colorado Springs has a Trader Joe's and we shopped there the next day and just ate in for the rest of our stay using the rental's very nice kitchen. The owner just gave us a code to use on the electronic door knob, so check in could not have been easier. This is a large rambling one story house that has been subdivided into three units, but you will not be disturbed by the other guests. The only time you might run into another guest (we never did) is if you use the shared laundry facility which is conveniently situated behind a door which you can lock when you aren't in the shared space. I mention this because we had to hunt for the laundry which we were in desperate need to use. BTW, the laundry machines are newer and very good quality. On our check out day a mother deer and her two fawns casually walked through the yard. It was as if they wanted to wish us well on the next leg of our journey.

There was 5 people in our family: parents and 3 boys ages 16, 17, and 24. We all had enough space to sleep. Big kitchen with all necessary accessories. We made use of the hot tub, grill and used the fire pit for s’mores. We sat around the big table and played cards and board games. The boys played table top shuffle board a lot! Overall very happy and highly recommended!

Hot tub not working. All the cups, glasses and dishes are not clean. We have to wash them but no dishwasher detergent. Master bedroom sink was very dirty. I give 3 stars because the manager company was very response any text or phone calls quickly and nice. After 16 hours long trip we expect to relax and clean, instead we have to be on the text and phone calls for hours to dealing all the issues. If not all those issues I would give it 4.5 stars. It’s very nice unique house.
