About this apartment rental
Alfama is the most typical, safe and genuine neighborhood of Lisbon.
Above the Alfama, the imposing Castle of São Jorge crowns Lisbon's eastern hill. West of the Alfama stand the proud twin towers of the Cathedral. To the northeast, the domed church of Santa Engracia and the white façade of São Vicente de Fora dominate the skyline!
The apartment is in the center of Alfama, in a building of the seventeenth century, restored. Easily accessible on foot!

Irina went above and beyond to make us comfortable and check in with anything extra we needed. We loved the area. We stayed at the very top flat so a lovely view. The area was safe and a few minutes walk to many restaurants, shops, etc. As other reviews say, be prepared for the stairs if anyone is elderly. Overall great first experience in Lisbon.

Great location, surprising calm (apart from some fado everynight, but it was a treat!)
The balcony is super small (you can't even put a chair on it), but the view is as described. The eating place is away from the view though, in a darker room/
Irina was great. So quick to answer any queries.
