A Escada - Alfama Design Apartments

We liked the location. Tram 28 stopping outside was very convenient and we used it to go everywhere. It was nice to explore the local Alfama area. The sofa bed was reported as very comfortable.

The noisy and complicated light switches, if used at night they woke everyone up. The pivoting wide door to the bathroom, my husband walked into it in the night as it had to stay open to some degree. It seemed a case of design over function. I didn’t appreciate being questioned about my review by the property people after I had posted it. I was so upset that I deleted it, but then decided to repost it, as it is my review, it is valid, and it is fair. I gave a ‘good’ rating, which is fair, and I said that we would stay there again. Obviously we will not now stay there again.

Excellent location - convenient tram 28 stop outside, and lovely to walk in the local area for Fado/restaurants and to experience the area.

Complicated and noisy light switches, main bedroom door didn’t shut, would prefer a larger bed (they were standard doubles).

We stayed here for 1 week as a family. The apartment was perfect. Great location. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops and transport. Or an easy 15 minute walk downhill to the main tourist areas. Communication with the owner was quick and easy throughout the stay.
