Location was perfect, for beach and shops and restaurants, house was nice and clean, pool was a great size for our family of 7. We loved our stay here and didn’t want to have to head back home.

We were looking forward to our trip, as it was the last before one of our family leaves for boot camp. The house did not have a working ice maker. The host did bring a cooler and ice the next morning. They did offer to bring more ice if requested. We ended up grabbing our own on trips out. We would not book this home again because of the a/c. We had a tech come look at it. The unit would only get down to 75/76 during the day. For some homes, this would be comfortable but in this house, it felt like a sauna. We used 7 box fans to make it somewhat tolerable. We are from the south and very aware of summer heat and humidity. We enjoyed the outdoor area and proximity to the beach. We typically stay outside until 9:00 pm or so when the house would be cooler. I would suggest a trash can for the bar area outside and in the downstairs laundry room. We tried make the best of it. There were a few minor issues with the doorknob falling off and the drawer in the fridge falling off. The pictures on the site were very nice and inviting! The photographer had to have edited the images. It was not a dump but definitely not as pictured on the website.
