Our natural amenities include miles of beach and tidal creeks, an on-site nature preserve with walking trails and bike paths, and a delightful year-round climate. MAXIMUM CARS: The maximum number of cars allowed for this property is 2, and 1 golf cart. The DeBordieu Colony Community Association charges each vehicle a $20 fee to enter the community.
CLUB MEMBERSHIP: This home has a Social Membership, which gives you access to the 2 community pools at the Beach Club and dining. A temporary club membership can be arranged for $200 a day. Our condo was absolutely ideal for our needs. The administration - Sue and Jackie particularly were incredibly helpful. My only regret is that we could not stay longer!
I have done many beach vacations in my day with and without family - but was very happily surprised by the condos at Pelican Watch. So close to everything - beach and surf just right. Facing East to see dawn and surrounded by ocean views. Gotta get back SOON!! Thank you.

This is our second year to celebrate New Years at Pelican Watch! Perfect view to wake up , relax and bring in the New Year! We wish there was one more bath or a half. But we make it work because of the fabulous location and cozy home!!

Few areas of the kitchen need a deep clean . Comfortable stay . Would like to have had a lighter in the home to start the grill . The master bed squeaks with the slightest move , interrupting sleep . The proximity to the beach was perfect . Overall would choose this unit for future stays .

We had a wonderful time on our vacation and loved the Debordieu community! We chose this unit instead of a house because we liked the great location- directly on the beach, and next to the Beach Club & community pools. The house does need substantial updates. Renters should also know that the unit does NOT come with basic necessities such as toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, basic cleaning supplies (ex. windex, dishwasher detergent), and beach towels. The internet nearly non-existent and most of the unit lacked cell phone service. We actually ended up liking being off the grid as it contributed to family time, but checking e-mail was problematic. Back to the great things- we loved Debordieu... the beach was fantastic & not over-crowded...the people were friendly... the staff attentive...and the sunrise- BEAUTIFUL!
