About this house rental
This super four bedroom home located just a few steps away from the beach in the Ocean Park Loop area of Northern DeBordieu Colony is perfect for the whole family. This private gated community is surrounded by a nature preserve and nestled on some of the finest beaches on The Hammock Coast. This home features a downstairs AND upstairs Master Suite with king size bed, seating area and private baths. The third bedroom upstairs features a set of bunks and two twin beds and the fourth bedroom has a queen size bed. These two bedrooms share a hall bathroom. Downstairs there is a half bath, full kitchen and comfortable living area and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and spacious living area.
Additional amenities include: Keurig, gas grill (guests provide gas), 2 pack n plays, 2 high chairs, outside hot/cold shower, baby gate and more!
This property does not have a club membership.
This property has a Keurig.
No smoking.
No pets (the owner has exterior cameras).
Bed & bath linens included.
No motorcycles, trailers or motor homes allowed in the community.
$250 credit for beach rental with VayK Life gear included when you rent this property.

I really enjoyed staying in this really cute cottage. It’s thoughtfully ready for renters. The kitchen is really well designed and each of the bedrooms have great furniture and modern bathrooms. You can’t beat the location. It’s fabulous. The only downside is the couch and the chair have a very heavy smell of pets and the back enclosed porch smells very strongly. I took blankets and covered the couch during my stay. But everything else seemed to be new and fresh smelling throughout the rest of the house. It’s also nice that you get the equipment credit. We used ours for bikes and beach chairs.

It wasn't clear in the listing that you had to go to a separate location to get the key. They should install a keypad like everyone else. Also, they said they had a hottub on the property. No they didn't. The proximity to the beach was excellent.

Lovely home in a great location. Steps away from the ocean, right around the corner from the Beach Club. The home was beautiful , spotless and perfectly appointed, especially the kitchen. Nice layout, open enough for gathering but still had areas where you could escape to read or recharge. The only suggestion I have for the owners is that they provide full-length mirrors. We were there for a wedding and that would have been nice to have. When we visit Debordieu again we will definitely ask for Island House. Tidelife Rentals is great to work with, very easy check in process. Take advantage of the bike and local golf cart rentals. A wonderful week .

This was our 4th year renting Island House. We have two Bulldogs and two kids—Island house is just right in a beautiful spot in Debordieu. I would say that over the 4 stays, more items have needed refreshing and repaired. Maybe just going over it at the end of the season and assessing. Landscaping is beautiful and house is very comfortable. I absolutely recommend it.
