About this apartment rental
Going out to discover Amsterdam and surroundings or just finding your quiet spot when working or relaxing, up to four can enjoy a lovely place on one of the Canals.
Everything is within reach, as well as a filmmuseum, 100m high lookout or just a nice restaurant next to the water or even beach. Also going out for nature is a 15 min tour on a bike or car. Or visit one of the famous Musea Amsterdam has by walking up to one of the free Ferries and get into the tram or metro. Even by bike it is only 20 minutes away.
Your host has a lot of knowledge on where one can go, all depending if it needs to be a local, cultural experience or just for food and good music. It's all there you just have to make something good out of it.

We had a great stay in the houseboat. Edwin was an excellent host, very responsive. The houseboat was great, we loved there was an air fryer. Plenty of kitchen and bathroom supplies. We had everything we needed. Perfect for my daughter and I.

Edwin was a great host, very approachable and very accommodating for check in and check out. Gave us great directions to nearby restaurants and shops. Ferry ride to central station and the sights in Amsterdam was very easy to do. Kitchen was well stocked. Unfortunately the nearby laundromat was not open during our stay. Great for two couples

This was such a charming property conveniently located near the train station with access to a ferry. It was so nice to be close to that area while also in a more unique setting. Edwin was such a fantastic host. I communicated with him several times leading up to our arrival, and he always responded promptly. He also provided many tips for our brief stay. Upon our arrival, he also took the time to give us some more information about Amsterdam's layout. He truly appreciated his efforts.

Great place to stay! 10min walk from downtown. The outdoor patio was a great space to enjoy while there. Edwin was super friendly and gave us some great tips on where to go and even a little history on the area. One of the first things you should know is that this is a carved out space of the boat house, it is not a house on its own. If you like to get rest during the day(like we tried), there was a lot of noise from a neighbor doing construction and on another night while in the bedroom around 8pm you can hear a full conversation being had from the room upstairs which kept me from getting rest. There are no TVs on the property and it did feel very small, trying to get 4 luggages packed before leaving was a Challenge as you barely had enough floor or tablebspace to lay things out. This is not a place for people who don't like tight quarters. Another thing that seemed like a miss was that we were only provided 2 rolls of TP for a group of 4 for 2 nights which is just annoying that you have to go out and find TP somewhere because host didn't provide enough. They did provide shampoo and one set of towels we had to reuse throughout the stay. Overall I'd say this is ok but I'm not sure it's made entirely clear by the property description that you are not in a house on its own, you are sharing a house boat with its own entrance and closed off living space and kitchen.
