About this apartment rental
Stylish and quiet ground floor apartment in one of Amsterdam's most beautiful neighborhoods. Enjoy a village-like atmosphere a stone’s throw away from the buzz. A perfect and peaceful retreat after a busy day of sightseeing. Public transport, supermarket, restaurants, bars and (organic) market within walking distance.
The bright and sunny canal side apartment consists of a spacious living room, a bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, a bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen with state-of-the-art DeLonghi whole bean coffee machine. The sofa couch in the living room can be easily converted into a large second bed for two adults.
The apartment is nicely furnished and includes a Smart TV, with a full range of channels, wireless Sennheiser headphones, high-speed WiFi and a Sonos One speaker.
The Western Isles neighborhood is like a village on the edge of the historical city center. Four hundred years ago it was the first expansion of Amsterdam. It is a quiet neighborhood made up of canals and converted warehouses. As Lonely Planet puts it: "The artistic and creative soul of the city hidden in the charming Western Isles. This small archipelago is bathed in wonderful tranquility, but is awakened from its slumber by bobbing houseboats and bicycles rattling over the wooden bridges. Beneath the former grain , herring and tobacco warehouses, intrepid travelers will now find studios making everything from film and music to painting and designer furniture”.
The Haarlemmerplein with a supermarket and organic market on Wednesdays is only 150 meters away. The famous shopping street Haarlemmerdijk is a 200 meter walk, the lively Jordaan with its bars and restaurants 500 meters, Central Station is a 15 minute walk or a short bus ride. The Anne Frank House is 1.5 km away and Dam Square is 2 km away.

Sebastian is the best host anywhere and anticipates traveler needs. He has a lovely welcome gift and extra supplies if you run out. The flat is on the ground floor, very convenient, and well located in terms of central station. We highly recommend this place for two couples or one with a child. It is fully equipped except for laundry facilities which is very normal for Europe. We loved the place and its location along a canal and we highly recommend it.

We loved our stay in Sebastian’s beautiful apartment! It’s in a quiet, picturesque neighborhood with easy access to all of Amsterdam’s museums and city sights with a canal and quaint bridge just steps from the door. The kitchenette was well-stocked, and there is a grocery store a few minute’s walk away (just across from the bus and tram stop). Sebastian met us at the apartment for check-in and kindly stored our luggage for us on our last day. We would definitely stay here again!

As advertised. Quiet and comfortable. Close to public transit. Sebastian was a great host. Perfect location for my wife and I to see the sights of Amsterdam.

Beautiful, spacious apartment. 2 adults and 2 kids. Walkable to most of the must-do things in Amsterdam proper. Sebastian was amazing and responsive. Easy check-in and helped us get a cab to the airport at check-out. 10/10!
