Location was perfect, central yet quiet enough - view on canal very relaxing -

Great, central and quiet location. Beautiful view over the canal, close to all amenities and attractions. Spacious apartment that is well equipped.
No air conditioning (when needed), however they had 2 fans. The space is good but it needs a bit of TLC with new paint.

The property was in Old Amsterdam and overlooked a canal. It is original and old. There is a supermarket close by. The hosts are very helpful and carried our luggage to our room.
It had 16 steps x 4 to get to our bedroom (64 steps). The steps are narrow and very steep. We are seniors in our 70’s with some mobility issues so we moved after 1 night for safety issues. Booking.com did not clearly articulate this property. There is no air conditioning so quite hot.
It would have been a great place if we were 30 years younger.
