Dutch Masters Short Stay Apartments

Very spacious living room.

Location was great but was quiet.

This was a wonderful apartment overlooking the Keizergracht (canal). The bed and furniture were comfortable. I know that a really comfortable bed can be hit or miss, but this one was a hit. The kitchen was well stocked and we were in a great location with just a short walk to the tram line stop. Crystal met us at check-in, which ended up being after 9pm after our train was delayed. We stayed for a week and ate at Red on the closest corner several times. Open for breakfast through 10pm. The specialty seems to be whole lobster, but everythng we had was good from burgers to Rib Eye and duck.

This is informational only and not a complaint. We stayed in the Herman Brood room. I am not fond of his art, but I wanted a one bedroom with a canal room. Unfortunately, this room was on the 3rd floor, which I was willing to do for the canal view...lots of steps. Also, the curtains for the bedroom have to be kept closed because they look out to an inner courtyard with other room windows.

It was a small one bedroom apartment in a great location right on a canal. The apartment was clean and comfortable for a single person or a couple. Had smart TVs in both rooms, with NETFLIX provided in the lining room (not the bedroom though). Provided full kitchen appliances and dishes, if you wanted to cook in the apartment and not eat out out all the time.

The only not totally great thing about it was that it was on the bottom floor. During the Netherlands soccer match (World Cup) it got kinda loud, but to be expected since all the building in this part of town are hundreds of years old.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom Vermeer apartment for a week. Good central location, high ceiling in very spacious living room, great view of canal from living room. Decent kitchen.

Tiny bedrooms that you cannot open a suitcase in, especially the second bedroom up steep steps in claustrophobic low attic style. No air conditioning in either of the two bedrooms although the whole apartment is supposed to be air conditioned. Basic bathroom with no space for toiletries, and only tiny basic toiletries supplied. Lighting too dark at night in living room. Host did not make us feel welcome. On check out, no one was there to help with luggage.
