This is an attic apartment in a building that was built around 1732. The wooden beams of the roof construction are clearly visible, which reflects the unique character of this historic building.
The building was thoroughly renovated, but it remains an old and historic building with all the associated charms.
There are four sleeping places. There is a double bed in the bedroom and there is a double sofa bed in the living room.
Please note that you cannot cook in the apartment. There is a kitchenette with a refrigerator and a tap (but no gas stove). Fortunately, there are super nice restaurants on and around the Nieuwmarkt (also many good, especially Asian, takeaway restaurants).
We live in the same building with our 10-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son.

Best vacation stay ever! Host was most accommodating and super helpful. The location was spot on- perfect for food, groceries, outdoor markets, and to get to all places on foot. Highly recommended place to stay!

City Center...says it all. We loved this 4th floor restored attic unit with a nice view of Nieuwmarkt square. We walked to restaurants museums and historical sights throughout the central district. Our hosts Bram and Merel were friendly and helpful. Did I mention the fourth floor or steep stairs... worth it!

We enjoyed a lovely flat which looked just like advertised. Brad was an excellent host and even helped us to navigate our baggage and the stairs. If you are looking for a clean place with helpful hosts who provide your privacy, or offer suggestions, this is the place!
