About this bed and breakfast

Alaska has so much to offer and the views usually do not disappoint, and here at Lost Lake Guest House you have a front row seat to some of the greatest views. Feel right at home when you walk into the front door and see the vaulted ceilings, the updated open concept living and kitchen areas and the sit in dining area with breathtaking views. Enjoy the fresh air while you sit on either deck and catch up on your day.
You will love the the Seward House with its open concept living area that flows right into the dining area that flows into the beautiful kitchen. The living area features a queen sleeper sofa, a very comfy recliner and a Roku equipped tv. The dining table seats 4 (extra chairs provided) and flows right into the beautiful updated kitchen which has everything you will need to prepare your next family meal. The unit offers a mater bedroom with a queen size bed, a spacious clean bathroom with a shower/tub, towels are provided, a full size loft with a queen size bed. There are 2 decks to relax on, one facing East and one that faces West. The West side provides the front yard with picnic table, fire pit and gas grill. The east side provides a beautiful glacier/snowcapped mountain range.
We are located in the Lost Lake Subdivision which is the gateway to Chugach National Forest and the famous Lost Lake Trailhead. We are in the perfect location for outdoor activities! From our property we are 1/2 mile from the Lost Lake Trailhead and we are just 3 miles from town.

The city bike (walk) path starts right below our property and it will take you all the way to the end of town, which is where you will find the Alaska Sealife Center.
You'll be able to come home from your full day of activities and relax either in or outdoors.
With the bright and open floor plan it has a lot to offer, it will give you and your guest more time to socialize and you will also be able to keep a eye on the kids!
Seward is an outdoors person's paradise! With deep sea fishing, glacier and wildlife cruises, many many hiking trails, a waterfront bike path (actually starts right below the guest house) that takes you along the edge of the Resurrection Bay where most people end up in the evening taking walks, talking with other travelers and just enjoying the views you won't see anywhere else! We have some of the BEST restaurants in Alaska that serve the freshest seafood you can get!

Great home base for our visit to Seward and the Kenai Fjords. The house was clean, comfortable, and convenient, with a beautiful view.

Great location, comfy beds, and cozy living space. Shirley had everything ready for us - perfectly comfortable room temp and spotless! She answered questions promptly and gave super easy instructions on how to get to the Guesthouse. We'd definitely stay again!

This cute home is only a stone's throw from "downtown" Seward, with easy main-road access and ample parking. Understand that there is only a single bedroom with a door that closes. The bed upstairs, in a low-ceiling loft, was perfect for the kids, but we had to turn off the lights in the kitchen and living room and be very quiet until they fell asleep because of the light and sound bleed. The final bed is the convertible couch in the living room. All of the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is an excellent size with plenty of amenities. Wifi is strong, but the uplink is satellite internet; large uploads (eg, pushing photos to dropbox or amazon pictures) WILL fill the pipe and kill the connection. Definitely check this place out if you need somewhere overnight before your Royal Caribbean southbound Alaska cruise -- or for somewhere to stay a few days after your northbound one!
