Hotel Edgewater by Aspen Hotels

I liked its location close to the Marine Center and restaurants. The room was pleasant and well appointed. The lady from North Carolina at the front desk was the best!

Hard to reach from port

The room and hotel are very nice. We were on the side facing Resurrection Bay which is right across the street. The view was beautiful of the water and the mountains. It is walking distance to the Sea Life Center which is an amazing aquarium with many types of fish, puffins, stellar seals and a starfish touch tank.

The breakfast is the standard hotel breakfast and kind of pricey when you can go up the street to the Breeze Inn and have a great breakfast for a lot less. The parking is abysmal. Only street parking and rarely available and this is only when there is no snow....otherwise you can't park on the street. Their "overflow lot" is quite a walk up the street which is uphill so not ideal if you are pulling suitcases. We battled it the whole time in the rain.

Location was great. Staff was good. For the price of the hotel room we felt breakfast should have been included.

Breakfast was too expensive so didn't buy it. For the price of the hotel, breakfast should have been included

Sea view room had a good view and was a good size with two queen beds . Shower was good and plenty of hot water. Convenient to restaurants and shops children’s park and sea walks.

Constant motor noises in our room all night long. Very noisy extractors in bathrooms, Retro fitted air conditioning units vibrate and noisy. Sink was in room instead of in the bathroom and blocked the access into the room. Tiny cupboard with only 4 hangers not enough hanging space or drawers no hooks for coats or towels. Inadequate clothes washing facilities only two washing machines and 2 dryers which all the guests and staff use as well so long waiting times. Breakfast was poor , plastic plates and cutlery scum on orange juice didn’t bother after first day.
