About this house rental
Our recently renovated property which was the old village school, is completed to a high standard and is wonderfully bright and spacious. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms we are ideally located in a beautiful rural location less than 10 minutes from Inverness City Centre. The best of both worlds! Use us as your base to explore the Highlands. Our situation is perfect for exploring Inverness, The Black Isle, Loch Ness, Culloden, Clava Cairns, as well as further afield. If you are arriving by public transport we can pick you up in Inverness. There is a large private parking area outside the house and it's free of charge.
The house has it's own utility room with a washing machine and an electric clothes drier.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need including a microwave and a dish washer. If you prefer to eat out the near by village of North Kessock boasts a pub and a tea-room, both of whom serve great food. Free wi-fi is provided, although with so much to see and do, we hope you will relax and switch your phone off!

The property owners were delightful people who were very responsive to the few questions we had. Easy access to the property just north of the Kessock Bridge on the A9, so it's a short 10 minute drive to Inverness City Centre. Plenty of room for the 4 of us (wife, 2 sons & myself) with peaceful country surroundings. Thank you Donnie & Ellie for hosting my family.

Wonderful place to stay and Donnie and Ellie are so friendly and helpful, they instantly feel like friends. Donnie kindly collected me from Inverness station and was always around if we needed anything, but never intrusive. The property is perfect - modern yet cosy, and beautifully decorated, with so many personal touches it feels like a much-loved home. And the views out of all the windows are stunning, from the lovely gardens to the surrounding countryside. The living area is huge, with a modern, fully fitted kitchen just off it, with oil, condiments, tea, coffee etc and they supplied milk and bread. There is even a separate utility room, with a heated airer which is a godsend in Scotland! The bedrooms were both lovely- one en suite and the other could use the enormous modern bathroom, which is also perfect to stretch in. They have space to store bikes, which was ideal for us, as I rented an ebike, which made cycling around the area a joy. Definitely recommend visiting The Fairy Glen, Rosemarquie beach and Chanonry Point and also North Kessock and the Red castle ruin the other side- it's like something out of a fairytale! All in all, the perfect place to stay this side of the Firth.
