A Canadian timber lodge situated near North Kessock in the Scottish Highlands that can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

Moorhen Lodge is a Canadian cabin set near the Scottish Highlands village of North Kessock. It has two bedrooms including a king size with an en-suite and a twin room with zip/link beds, there is also a family bathroom, the property can sleep four people. Also inside there is an open plan living area with a kitche, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is off road parking for two cars and a veranda with a furniture, a hot tub and a barbecue. Moorhen Lodge is a stunning property in an excellent spot for a peaceful break in the Highlands.

Amenities: LPG central heating, woodburning stove. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, WIFI. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Off road parking for 2 cars. Veranda with furniture, BBQ and hot tub. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking in the cabin and the whole woodland site. Shop and pub 3 miles. Note: there is a £150 good house keeping bond attached to this property

Town: North Kessock is an ancient ferry route between Inverness and the Black Isle. This ferry ran, for 700 years, up until 1982, when the Kessock Bridge opened. The village has buildings along the shore of Beauly Firth where a range of wildlife can be seen and heard. In North Kessock, a small marine Wildlife Research Base monitors dolphins and seals through sightings as well as underwater microphones. Pop in and have a listen!
