It needs better maintenance to keep charging that much

It’s well located in Niteroi and offers a splendid view of Rio

They need to be more attentive to maintenance. Several areas in the hotel shows sign of decay. I tried to use the bathroom near the breakfast restaurant and most faucets were broken. My AC was dripping water in the floor. My room door was broken on the bottom. This was my 5th or 6th time staying there, and they need to well maintained the place, considering the amount of money they charge.

We booked a suite but when we arrived were given a room since the only suite was 8,000+ reais for 3 days! This was an error by booking on their website. The food was excellent except for the so-called integral bread at breakfast which was disgusting!

Amazing rooftop view from Niterói and Rio de Janeiro!

Very good location, room and sheets were clean and fresh, staff was very polite and helpful. Room service prices were very decent. Generous breakfast.

Facilities need better maintenance (wear and tear due to seaside environment). Deck Bar needs an upgrade.

Lovely hotel, as advertised

The hotel and staff were amazing, an it was super clean an friendly. The area felt safe and the breakfast was really good. It was nice to be away from the loudness of rio at night but we found that we could also take the ferry over which was often faster than a car. The view was incredible and anything we asked for they brought to the room straight away. The room was big enough and always cleaned when we returned from breakfast!

At weekends it was alot busier and louder. But we only heard it when a wedding happened at the hotel and the kids took over the gym when people were trying to use it. Also the area the hotel is located is a good 30 minute drive from Rio but if the bridge is busy you will be around an hour.

Basic hotel with an awesome view

We were during carnival season for a couple of days in Niteroi for family reasons and stayed three nights at this hotel. It is well located in Niteroi with an amazing view over the Guanabara Bay to Rio. Not far from the Museum of Contemporary Art and the ferry terminal to Rio de Janeiro. The beach of Icarai is in walking distance as well as the center of Icarai with it's stores. You can get to Sao Francisco with its nice restaurants fast by Taxi or Uber. A Taxi stop is in front of the Hotel and supermarkets around the corner. The room was basically equipped and clean. The bathroom was quite small but sufficient. The aircon was working well. The windows are closing well and you will not hear much traffic noise. The breakfast buffet is good and the selection and quality is above Brazilian standard. The personnel were nice and friendly. Communication in English is no problem. The pool on the roof top is clean and well maintained. Wifi works well. We used the laundry service which was very good and fast.

Attention! The payment is not handled via booking.com. There is no online payment option. You are demanded to send a copy or photo of your credit card and your ID. No exceptions! According to the hotel's reservation office "it's a security measure used to protect the guest and the hotel". This fact is not communicated before booking. The payment information and a pre-authorization form will be sent to you in Portuguese only. The customer service of booking.com was a disappointment and will not help you at all. The hotel is good but basic for the money you pay. Remember that you pay for the view. The room was very basic: no decoration, no paintings or pictures on the wall and only ONE chair in a double room. The balcony is nice but WITHOUT chairs or a table. Some equipment and furniture is old and damaged. Damaged bathroom door, water stains on the drywall, stains on the walls. Even if the pool on the roof is nice it was the biggest disappointment: continuous noise from the air con system which is overturned by loud music from the bar area. At 7pm there were no towels available anymore. The bar staff (5 persons at that time) was not motivated to solve this problem by getting more towels. Instead there was someone from housekeeping wiping the tiled floor from the pool to the elevator all the time. Fresh and used towels are handled over the bar which is in our opinion quite unhygienic. Even with these flaws it was a nice and relaxing stay at this hotel but we don't know if we would choose this hotel again for our next stay in Niteroi.

An amazing place to rest and have a good time

I recently stayed at this hotel and was absolutely blown away by the stunning view from the top floor. It was truly breathtaking and made my stay all the more enjoyable. The breakfast selection of food was also fantastic - I was impressed by the variety and quality of the options available. However, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the outstanding infinity pool. It was the perfect place to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I found the check-in process to be a bit tedious and frustrating. There were too many bureaucratic procedures, including filling out multiple forms and answering numerous questions, despite having completed some of this information online through booking.com. Additionally, there was too much emphasis on discussing room types and prices, which I found redundant as I had already made my choices during the booking process. Overall, I would recommend that the hotel streamline its check-in procedures to provide a more efficient and hassle-free experience for guests.

- The pool and the view off of the rooftop - The rooms on 18th floor have a nice balcony - I was upgraded to "the best room" on check-in

I was contacted prior to my arrival by the hotel with the request to fill out an authorisation form. I couldnt print anything because I was on travels, but after some communication back and forth, I asked to clarify things on arrival. On arrival it wasnt a Problem at all, they even upgraded me.
