True ocean front house featuring 2 view decks, and 180-degree view of the Pacific coastline, Monterey Bay, and Coastal Bike/Walk Path. Watching the ever-changing Pacific Ocean by day, and a dazzling blanket of twinkling city lights by night. Imagine whale watching from your own deck as they enter the Pacific Grove Marine Gardens Park (an under the ocean park) directly across from the house. Watch the scuba divers diving just a stone's throw from the shoreline. Two-blocks to famous centrally located Lover's Point Park. Take a walk along the beach on the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail; past Asilomar Beach, onward to Pebble Beach and the famous 17-Mile Drive. Or towards Monterey Bay Aquarium, Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf by the historic downtown Monterey with its shops & restaurants.
Stroll down Ocean View Boulevard to Lover's Point Park and rent a bike or surrey (4-person bike), travel along the Monterey Bay Coastal Trail to the Aquarium, Cannery Row and Old Fisherman's Wharf and beyond! Save the parking fees because of the convenience of never needing to take your car. Bike rental is available at the Lover's Point Park (next to the snack bar) and at Cannery row as well. All it takes is less than 10 minutes of driving to Carmel-by-the-Sea; an amazing, European-style village with shops, restaurants, wine tour, art galleries, and more.

Great location. Views that cannot be beat plus an amazing location. Sadly, communication and reasonable expectations failed beyond belief. 1, The actual house is way too small for more than a couple or a young family w one child. Don’t be fooled by the pictures. The deck off of the main primary was my favorite. 2, Grace was unclear about parking so we figured out how to manage. 3, Rooms are poorly appointed. Mattresses were awful and I can usually fall asleep on a bed of rocks. 4, We have stayed at many rentals but this one might top our ‘never again list’. “Hi Grace, would it be possible to run over some hangers…there are none” GRACE: “We don’t supply hangers”. WOW. This trip incorporated a couple of fancy evenings as it was a celebration of my HS’s 50th Reunion. So, it was weird suits and dresses had to be creatively prepped. A day had passed then Grace emailed me offering a 50 allowance to buy hangers. Yes, this may seem gracious even after the fact. But it’s not the money. Grace expects us to drop what we are doing to hunt for hangers. It’s a dereliction of being a decent host. 5, No notes or a one-sheet explaining how to operate appliances, tv, etc… Not everything is obvious in how to operate electronics. Grace, seems like a nice person but not entirely plugged in. *** It would have been nice if Grace offered to comp us a night as it was quite noisy in the AM from her neighbor’s renovation. Fun stuff.
