About this house rental

Spectacular Ocean Views!
Stunning views of the Pacific Ocean 300 feet from the house to the ocean's edge and walking trails, across from Asilomar Beach. Five minutes from Monterey Fisherman's Wharf.

Pictures illustrate the incredible view from the living room, dining room, kitchen and the upstairs master bedroom.

As of June 2019, we have completed a top to bottom inside and outside remodel of the entire home. Kitchen was torn down to the framing and redesigned with the very best in cabinetry and appliances. You will enjoy spending time in the kitchen with the ocean views. Adjoining the kitchen is a great dining area which seats up to 8 people and provides a serving side board as well as the new granite countertop between the kitchen and the dining room.

The master bedroom was also torn down to the framing and rebuilt, allowing us to reposition the shower and oversized tub so that you have great ocean views from both. New cabinets, granite countertops and new sinks complete the new look there as well.

In the upstairs master suite there is 1 king size bed, 2 nights stands, and 2 sitting chairs with a table to enjoy the ocean views. There are 2 downstairs bedrooms which each have a queen size bed and 2 night stands. In the living room there is a pull out tempur pedic queen size bed located in the sea foam blue sofa.

The downstairs bathroom has a very nice marble top counter with 2 sinks and a walk in shower.

Through the octagon shaped front door entryway, you access the 500 plus square foot living room which is down 3 steps from the entryway. There you will find an L-shaped leather sectional which seats 8 people, 2 reclining & swivel chairs near the windows which allow you to easily look at the ocean. There is also a sea foam blue tempur pedic queen size sleeper. In addition, there is a sofa table with 2 seating cubes that can be used as a laptop computer table which includes an ocean view.

If you walk out the front door, you will find a walkway to the patio area which has a new aluminum patio table and 10 chairs. There is also a 22" Weber kettle BBQ. Just bring your favorite charcoal.

In the garage, there is room for 2 cars, one of which has a remote control provided. There is also a washer and dryer which is available for your use. And, there are 6 beach towels to be utilized when walking the 300 feet to the beach.

This home is located in an environmentally sensitive area known as Asilomar Dunes. Walking on the sand dunes except for designated pathways is prohibited. This area is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood where loud noises are prohibited. Guests should not be outside on the patio after 10pm making any type of noise which could disturb the neighbors.

    Great spot for a relaxing stay. The views from the home are beautiful in every direction. In addition to the master king and 2 bedrooms with queen beds, there are 2 pull out sofas in the living room. The house is exceptionally clean and well stocked. The location is outstanding. 10 minutes from everything you need - Cannery Row & the Aquarium in Monterey, Pebble Beach and all the stops along 17-mile Drive in Carmel. There is a lot to do, but I did not realize how much we should have planned in advance since things were already booked once we got there. So, a small word of advice - plan ahead. Don't wait to check out the binder they have at the house. Oh, and bring your own pillows if you are a larger group. The beds are great, so no complaints at all there!!

    We loved the location! The house is nearly across the road from Asilomar State Beach and our young granddaughters had fun visiting the tide pools. There's a nice sandy beach that's a longer walk but the trail is very walkable. The views from the house are stunning!
