About this house rental
Incredible views of the Pacific from this water-front 3BR, 2BA home. A short walk to the beach, including to Asilomar and the PG lighthouse, and with whales visible from the LR and DR windows during whale season, this home will help you feel far away from the world. It can accommodate 6 to 10 people, with a king-sized bed in the master, a queen bed in one bedroom, bunk beds and a day bed in the third bedroom, and a sectional sofa in the family room large (and comfortable) enough to sleep two. PG STR license number 84.

The location is great; right across from the ocean and near several areas where you can sun bade or swim. The house setup is very family friendly, it has an amazing view but the windows in the front rooms have a film on it and and you can't see the view very clear nor can you open the windows to let the fresh air in. The bedrooms are a good size and the living areas are very large and comfortable. The bathrooms have been remodeled but need grab bars in the showers and anti slip mats available. The house needs needs a bit of paint and most of the windows couldn't be open and there were no ceiling fans to move the air around, it got stuffy. We eventually found a portable fan but it was super dirty so we didn't dare turn it on because there was so much dust on it. One of the negative things of the house was that it wasn't clean; there was dust on the floor, legos under the couch and lots of dust on every where. Whoever cleaned it, did a very quick surface clean and not well. Having said that, we contacted the owner and property manager and they made it right.

We really loved the location and the views — absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made a big difference for our stay! The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of supplies, although a few pans could use replacing. The host was very nice and super responsive, which we really appreciated.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying again!
