Home is located @ 15 minutes from Williamstown's ARK Encounter and sits directly on Beautiful Bullock Pen Lake, a 135 acre "Idle Only" lake, There are no loud motorboats allowed so your Solitude will never be disrupted unlike other lakes in the area. So If you Need some Soul Therapy, Secluded Relaxation, this is the place. Bullock Pen Lake is one of NKY's Premier Fishing, Kayaking & Paddle Boarding Lakes. Located in Beautiful Rolling Hill Farm Country, 15 minutes to Ark Encounter (16.9 miles), and in the heart of Verona's bustling Wine Country with Verona Vineyards (4.7 miles), Schoolyard Winery (2.5 miles), Brianza Garden Winery (5.6 miles) , Grape Vines Wine Bar (4.4) miles nearby. Plus the Creation Museum (33 miles), Big Bone Lick Historic Site, Museum and State Park (12 miles), Historic Rabbit Hash, KY ( 21 miles) Downtown Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky Riverwalk (30 miles), as well as many wedding venues. Perfect little weekend getaway. House is in a beautiful little spot. Plenty to do in the area and close. Great view and kayaks were fun should have brought some fishing poles but I will next time

This property may be okay for young families, but not for us as senior citizens. Unfortunately, the way the vrbo system works, we don't get location details until payment is submitted. As we found out, the "may be a detour" comment from the owner's check-in instructions was actually a main road closure, so we had only one way in and out. Beyond that, the gravel trail leading into the place was partially washed out to the point we felt unsafe, especially if trying to navigate at night. The cabin itself smelled musty and dank, per my wife's sensitivities. For these reasons, we stayed only one night (of 12 nights booked) and advised the owner of the things mentioned above. We have plenty of photos of vrbo wants to see them. Again unfortunately, the owner has chosen profit over customer satisfaction - choosing to keep the entire rental amount, rather than any form of concession. We recognize the vrbo's disclaimer policy when it comes to owner-renter agreements. After six straight years of using vrbo, this year is probably our last.
