We had a very nice stay. The theater room was super cozy, we watched lots of movies in there. We enjoyed the air hockey too. The kitchen had everything I needed to cook meals. It's a very nice place, I would recommend.

We wish the kitchen would have had more silverware and some aluminum foil…. Also listing did not specify Keurig coffee pot so we brought the wrong kind of coffee. Great property, would stay again. This is more than just a cozy cottage. It had a great upstairs layout with a centralized kitchen and living room then the downstairs had an awesome game room and movie room. The rooms were all clean floors are all swept and mopped. The only minor things that I could say would be just some slight updating where the paint was damaged, replacing one set of mini blinds in the front bedroom and maybe the porch step on the front side of the driveway, it's just a little high for old knees lol.

The cottage had NOT been cleaned since prior renters had been there. We arrived and found dirty towels in washer, dirty dishes in dishwasher, bathroom sinks very dirty, and our dirty bedding bunched up on the floors in all 3 bedrooms. VERY dusappointed!

I can't brag enough on this listing. Was absolutely a wonderful and peaceful stay. I highly recommend the cabin at Oak Creek Campground if you plan a visit to The Ark Experience and Creation museum.

Very comfortable and spacious. We very much appreciate “lived in” properties like this that aren’t “delicate” for the comfort with our children. But this was a very friendly place. Game room downstairs was very cool. Theater for tv! Walking distance to the pool that my daughter used a couple times (clean and safe). While it is in a campground, you are not crowded in with other people. Lots of space to spread out. There is a decent hill you have to drive up to get to the house, but that wasn’t an issue for us. Perfectly situated between the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum, if that is what you are in the area for.

Went to see the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. Campground is conveniently located in the middle of the two attractions and is easy to get to. Area was quiet and looked well maintained. The cottage we stayed in was very nice and fit our group of five adults perfectly.

The property was well situated at the top of the hill away from most of the camping locations. Having the finished basement with game room and movie room was spectacular especially with the storms that came through. It is conveniently located between the Ark and the Creation Museum.

Could definitely use some paint in those places. Needs more lamps in living room, master bed and better lighting in kitchen. The place is very dark. No trash bags were provided, we ended up getting some from friends who stayed in RV. Needs extra blankets also.

We had to be in the area for our daughter. Have never stayed away from home on Christmas. Was very satisfied with property. Provided ample space for the family. Had great entertainment features (Theater Room, Air Hockey, Nostalgic Video games). Since it was cold most of the time we were there, these came in very handy!! We arrived in the evening after the office was closed and found the codes and instructions exactly as the host described. We found the home and entered easily. There was plenty of room for the 4 of us and everything worked well. Note that the house is best suited for smaller groups. The kitchen table seats 4 and the cooking utensils are not large. As with other vacation rentals, the hosts seem to struggle with keeping enough tableware stocked. If we are in the area, we would definitely be open to staying there again.

The house was wonderfully laid out. The whole family enjoyed the games & movie room in the basement. It was a perfect set up for a family or 4 or even more. I called this house a diamond in the rough because when we entered the RV park my husband & I both questioned our choice. We ended up very satisfied. We took advantage of the grill one evening & Kroger was super close by. I would definitely rent here again & recommend it to travelers to the Ark encounter. Things I would address:cleanliness of the bathrooms, coffee maker did not work, and could have used more blankets. These are minor things, I cleaned the bathrooms & purchased instant coffee👎 and a blanket. GREAT STAY!!

We stayed at the cottage for 4 nights and 5 days. It very clean and well taken care of. We had plenty if room for our family of 6. I would recommend that more kitchen cooking equipment be brought in such as bigget pand and skillets. Also some bigger mixing bowls to make meals with. I would also recommend a lock on yhe door going from the kitchen to the basement for gamilies with th little ones who could fall down the stairs. Other than that our stay was amazing. We will be renting again next year

My family and I were visiting The Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. This was a perfect spot to be between the two. The campground was quiet. Home alarm system offered additional peace of mind. The house was clean and had lots of room. We made sure we had a movie night and took advantage of the home theater, as well as the air hockey table. The owner called me twice to check in as I was a little later getting there than expected. An information packet was left for me to pick up although the office was closed. Check in/out was an easy process. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone.

I stayed with a friend and 4 kids (6-13yo). It was a perfect setup with the game and theater room. Things I wish I'd known- the pool was closed, there is no dvd player in movie room, if checking in late they'll leave info on the camp office door. Overall- Great location- great place to spread out and have fun- would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay for 5 nights. The house was clean and met our needs. The kids enjoyed the game room and our family enjoyed the movie room on evenings at home. It should be noted that the pool was not open. The listing should be amended to say that the pool is only open Memorial Day to Labor Day. Any problems we had were addressed promptly

This home had everything we needed. It’s in a nice little campground called Oak Creek which is near shopping, eating and even car care services. We had our vehicle serviced while visiting. Very convenient. The home was equipped with a full kitchen, bathrooms (3) and a game room. You can sleep 10 people here but we only had 4. Plenty of space and plenty of peace. It’s the perfect getaway spot whether you’re on vacation or just wanting to work away from the office. It’s not far from the Ark Encounter and it’s really quite conveniently located to where you can go in either direction of where it is to get to places. The home overall was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. It even has a washer and dryer. We will be back.

Great property just as advertised. Not overly decorated with a bunch of breakables so perfect for a family. Loved the air hockey game and the movie room. Great location for visiting the creation museum or ark encounter, but not too far to attend a game at the Bengals or Reds stadiums.

Stocked with basic supplies such as k-cups and maker, paper towels, dishwasher pods, toilet paper, popcorn,, etc. All beds had Ugg comforters and pillows. They were so good that I decided to buy a set at Bed Bath and Beyond while staying. The kids loved the downstairs movie theater and game room. They said this is the best place we have stayed at yet. The entire house was spacious and with 6 people we have to go "find" everyone to leave. The house sits in a campground but back away from it in the woods. It is wooded on 3 sides of the house. It is 100 feet from the campground pool. So you can quickly go for a dip and be back via walking while other campers drive. The maintenance and owners left you alone the whole time. I loved that I could be there without be bombarded by people and be there in peace. It is really close to Ark Encounter, Cin zoo, Cin Aquarium, Big Bone Lick State Park, and about an hour away from the National Air Force Museum. It is just off the highway but you cannot hear the traffic. It is convenient that there is a Krogers grocery store and gas station within a mile for all your daily needs.
