This location just over the Arno River was perfect for our adult family of five. It was a quiet space, but so convenient to everything in Florence city center. There’s a grocery store, restaurants, and gelato just around the corner. Having two bathrooms and separate rooms for everyone was ideal. We would definitely stay here again!

This property worked great for a group of 5-7. The location is great...not far from everything, but far enough removed that you don't deal with the crowds. The neighborhood has several good restaurants, bars, a market, and a gelato shop. The host was incredibly nice, informative, and accommodating. Be aware that while there is an elevator, it is very small. Most of us took the 4-flights of steps each time.

Our family was greeted promptly and was shown around the apartment. The first thing we noticed was a strong smell. We were very unsure what it was but it was not pleasant. We later discovered that food was prepared in the kitchen and by the next day, the smell was gone. The bathroom showers did have mold in them and one bathroom had mold on the wall just outside the shower. The apartment was very dusty, dust bunnies were floating around from the moment we arrived. The location was a little further from the river than I thought but overall not horrible. I was grateful to have the lift. However the stair case is wide in case you need to carry anything up. Overall, it was ok.

Very large flat given it's in a historical building in Florence. The VRBO description of the interior was as described. The pin for the location was off though and the flat is on the south side of the river so plan an extra 5 min walk for all of the places to see on the north side. There are great little places to eat around the area including a fabulous Gelato place and a great restaurant named Nero.

Location is great in the heart of Florence, close proximity to everything, but very quiet at night. Cool Ac, fully stocked, tons of beds and space, lots of room to spread out, washing mashing, lift to the top, modern and clean. Great communication.

The location is fantastic, close enough to walk to everything and still on a quiet street. The host met us upon arrival and explained the apartment thoroughly, and there was also a guide book in English to things like appliances and water.Overall, just a great visit and our family enjoyed being able to stay here.

We enjoyed our stay. Family of 5-spouse, 2 teens, any my mom. Lots of space to spread out and loved the living/dining room area. Love that there is an elevator for luggage and groceries as apt is on the top floor. Location is great for walking in the city. Beds were all very comfortable.

My four friends and I enjoyed our stay in this spacious, bright, clean apartment. The location is a quiet neighborhood with restaurants, bakeries, and the best gelato in Florence. It is a short walk to everything. The apartment has very comfortable beds, pillows and soft linen. The kitchen is lovely as are the bathrooms. Our host was responsive to our questions. If you’re lucky enough to book a stay here you won’t be disappointed.

Our stay here was wonderful. Communication with the host was easy and fast. The apartment was clean and bright. WIFI worked very well. The location is great. Everything is within walking distance. The biggest challenge was loading and unloading the car. The street out front is very narrow and busy. We had to park around the corner. But it was a short walk and not difficult at all. Florence is amazing, and this is an excellent place to stay.

I didn't realize how nice it would be to be away from the touristy crowds. Being across in the river is so lovely. Fun the wander these streets and find amazing shops and bakeries. And thank you to the other reviewer who mentioned the nearby wine window - that was fun! Very easy to just walk across the bridge to be at all the spots on your to do list. The apartment is very spacious and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

we came to Florence to visit our daughter who was studying there. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the apartment was quiet. Location is good, a short walk across the river to get to the main Florence attractions like the Duomo and the Uffuzi, and on the same side of the river from the Plaza Michaelangelo and Plaza Vecchio. We had a couple of great meals at il Santo Bevitore which is less than a block away and the gelato around the corner was one of my daughter's favorite places in Florence (she has tasted many!). Coming in the hosts were very helpful in troubleshooting some transportation difficulties we had. Overall a great stay in Florence!

It was a spacious apartment, very clean and close to everything! As a new traveler (first time Italy) and also new to AirB&B our other two places were super helpful to us tourists. I was just told to check their website here but even that was not that helpful - or maybe I expected more because the other places were very helpful. A group of 6 adults stayed for eight days at Soderini Palace this past July. The apartment was located in a great location. Several cafes, restaurants, and local shops in close proximity. The Ponte Vecchio was about 10 minute walk and all other major landmarks (Duomo) was about a 20 minute walk. We were next to the Piazza Santo Spirto where we found some great local restaurants. We were 2 blocks from a wine window (Babae). The apartment was spacious and very well stocked with everything we needed especially air conditioning as it was very hot. There is a small lift since the apartment is on the 3rd floor but most of the group took the stairs. Check in was very easy and the hosts responded quickly to my questions ahead of my arrival. We would definitely stay at this apartment again if we return to Florence.

We enjoyed are stay very much. The apartment was perfect for us and the location was excellent. It was well air conditioned which was vital with 100+ temperature during our visit. Would definitely stay there again! The hosts and Chiara left a helpful booklet with information regarding taxi service etc. The only surprise was that I had to pay a special tax when I arrived that I wasn’t aware of as I thought the rental was paid in full. Cash only. I think I should have been aware of that addition so could have been better prepared for the fee.

The place fit seven of us very comfortably. A/C units in each room and throughout the apartment kept us very cool during high 90’s temperatures. This is a wonderful apartment within a 15 minute walk of all the sites in Florence, in fact, it is one of the best VRBO rentals in which we've ever stayed. The building is safe and the apartment is stocked with everything you need. The owners were patient and answered all of our questions to make our stay enjoyable. The lift was greatly appreciated after a long day and there are plenty of places to grab something to eat within a few steps. Try the gelato on the corner by the bridge. Highly recommend. My husband and I and our three adult children shared the place for a week. There was plenty of room. The location was really great. Walkable to everything but yeah out of the fray of being in the middle of the city. Maybe I misread but I thought there was a washer and dryer, it turns out there was only a washer but other than that all was as expected.
