Beautiful flat in the best location

This place was A DREAM! The views from the windows are absolutely incredible and the giant sitting room was perfect for our needs. You can look out over the river, the bridge and the Duomo! Everything worked well, the space was well furnished and there was even a lift to get to the 4th floor! I would sit with a glass of wine or coffee and just look out the window. The only trade off for the location was the noise of the busy street, but if you put on a fan or white noise machine in the bedrooms you'll be good to go!

Incredible location. Great for the needs of our group. Phenomenal to sit and watch the sun set over the city, glass of wine in hand. Only complaint is that I had some work to do while on vacation and there was no internet in the VRBO *or it was broken while we were there. Ended up being an excuse to blow off work and enjoy Florence!

The location and overall layout of the apartment were amazing. However, the nonfunctioning air conditioning units were a big negative since it was 90F in Florance all week and the apartment is located on the 5th floor of the building. The apartment comes with 4 installed AC units (one in each bedroom and one in the living room), but they would only run for a few minutes at a time before tripping the fuse and shutting off. When they were running, they were not releasing enough cold air to cool a room. I was in constant communication with the host about this. He finally came to the apartment, cleaned the units on day 4, but it did not fix the problem. There was no compensation offered for our discomfort. I never would have rented the apartment had I known there was no adequately functioning air conditioning.
