Very nice experience. A lovely host that briefed us both about what to do on Miyajima, but also guided us in terms of breakfast, dinner and other useful items. She also gave us an introduction to the japanese culture, the construction of the house and the 'rules'/customs of the rooms.
If there could be A/C in the bath room, that would be great.

Beautiful home, and very comfortable and clean. It is an easy walk from the ferry terminal. The hostess pointed us to a small restaurant just a few doors away that provided one of the best meals of our trip to Japan!

Location was great. Owner was responsive and spoke very good English. The furniture and decor is authentic traditional Japanese.
It was very cold and didn't warm up anywhere except the bedroom despite having heaters on. The.bathroom / shower room was too cold to use. There is no kitchen.
