Good location in magical Miyajima. Room with dedicated onsen was great too. The room was spacious by Japanese standards and the view was outstanding.
The buffet was ok quality, most hot items were cold even at the beginning of the service. The price was too much for what we got. Cleanliness was average all over the hotel, the smell from the buffet was all over the 6th floor. Overall the hotel could use a refurb. It's a bit dated

Loved the location. The room was beautifully appointed with a magnificent view. Lovely products. Fabulous tub bath from which you could admire the scenery. Kimono at reception were also a nice touch and the Onsen's (public baths) were well stocked with lovely products and complementary items like hairbrushes, razors, toothbrushes etc.
Of all the hotels we stayed in during our visit this was the least clean. The tub bath had a ring round it which a good bleach should have been easily removed. The corridor carpets were dusty round the edges and I didn't feel the half-board food was as fresh as it should've been. It's the only time on the whole trip when I woke up at 3am with stomach pain needing to dash to the loo.
The pool wasn't open when we went and this wasn't obviously stated on Booking.com. And the Onsen with a view (which was spectacular) had poor drainage.
