Struttura tipica, grande, accogliente e bellissima! Posizione eccezionale! Fornita di tutto: cucina attrezzata, bagno grande e un sacco di spazio!

Having visited Miyajima before, I was looking forward to actually staying on the island. It felt something really special. P-Stay was the perfect location for this stay. It is a short walk from the ferry, just off the main streets. Checking in requires pre-registration, and you only "talk" to a tablet at the entrance. The stay is actually a spacious family home with a large tatami-floored dining room, a large bedroom, and a traditional bathroom. The building engulfs a small garden. The beds were comfortable. While the place is not new, this actually contributes to the feeling that you are staying over at a friend's place. Simply lovely. Funny bonus: if you open the restroom window, do not be surprised to face about fifteen deer looking at you! It seems their favourite spot is right there.

Minor things: It is odd to have all the beds in one room; we would have preferred to have at least some of us stay in the tatami room. Coming from Europe, still struggling with jetlag, it was harsh to learn that by 7 pm all shops and restaurants were closed (except the convenience stores).
