My room was very cozy and I appreciated the opportunity to stay in a Japanese style room. My room had a window with a pleasant view of trees. I enjoyed sitting at the low desk and sleeping on the futon was a unique experience. It gave an insight into traditional Japanese lifestyles and was a sharp contrast from Hotels I’d been staying in.
Personally I am not a fan of the smell of oysters and so the bar selling them was not ideal for me but this smell was only confined to the entrance area.

Location was good. Staff were lovely
We accidentally booked a Japanese bed and it was uncomfortable. But this was more our error.

We liked the location from the ferry and to the shrine and shops
The futon bed and pillow were so hard and uncomfortable - this is not our first time on this type of bedding. No comfortable place to sit and not happy that there is one shared shower on a different floor. Restaurant/Bar not open. We did not stay the 2 nights that we paid for.
