Overlook Cottage is a quaint 2-bedroom cottage situated in an incredible location- just a 2-minute walk from downtown Short Sands and the beach! The cottage offers 2 bedrooms (one Queen bedroom and one bunk bedroom), a full bathroom, kitchen and living room, along with a vaulted and enclosed 3-season sun porch for additional gathering space. A large deck provides excellent outdoor space for entertaining as well. This is a perfect space to enjoy all that beautiful York Beach has to offer.

This is such a great place! It was so cute and had everything we wanted. It is close to Short Sands, has a great back deck, comfortable beds, an awesome enclosed front porch (with AC!), and was perfect for our family of 4. The owner was wonderful to deal with, and the caretaker who gave us a tour on arrival was so helpful and kind (we had no issues, but I have no doubt she would have been there in a heartbeat if we had). You cannot go wrong booking this location!

Not the best weather during our stay but we still found plenty to do! - one gray beach day, Funorama excursion, Goldenrods for lunch, ice cream and taffy! A walk around town - sorry to find the park and zoo closed. I am a writer and used this as a writing retreat. Got some good work done! One downside - a lobster roll is 38!

The house is just as pictured, clean, well stocked with everything you may need, including nice beach chairs.
The central a/c was awesome for the hot days.
We enjoyed our stay very much.
