Welcome to Helen’s House, a beautifully renovated York Beach getaway just a 3–4 minute walk from Short Sands Beach. Designed for families, groups, and unforgettable Maine getaways, this spacious 3-bedroom, 2-bath home comfortably sleeps up to 11 guests while keeping you close to everything that makes York Beach special.
Inside, nearly the entire home has been thoughtfully renovated with a fresh, modern feel while maintaining the charm of a classic coastal Maine home. Enjoy hardwood floors, updated bathrooms, a fully remodeled kitchen with stainless-steel appliances, comfortable living spaces, central heating and cooling, and plenty of room for everyone to spread out.
Sleeping arrangements include:
• Primary bedroom with a queen bed, Roku TV, and blackout shades
• Second bedroom with four twin beds—perfect for kids, friends, or larger families
• Third private sleeping room with a full-size daybed/futon and an additional twin pull-out bed
• Queen sleeper sofa in the living room for two additional guests
Fresh linens are provided, and the bedrooms feature blackout shades for comfortable nights and lazy vacation mornings.
The main living room is designed for relaxing together after a day at the beach, with a large Roku TV, comfortable seating, a loveseat, and two reclining massage chairs. The adjacent kitchen and dining areas make it easy to prepare meals, enjoy takeout, or gather together for breakfast before heading into town.
For guests mixing a little work with vacation, the enclosed sunroom includes a dedicated workspace with dual monitors and USB-C connectivity, making remote work easy without sacrificing your beach getaway.
