Summary:
Unwind in this idyllic countryside retreat near Aberdeen. Perfect for groups or families, this spacious barn cottage offers modern amenities and a peaceful setting. Explore Castle Fraser or scenic hiking trails, then relax in the cottage’s warm and cozy ambiance. The cottage consists of 3 double rooms with king beds, and 1 room with a futon, suitable for 2 children or 1 adult. Situated north of Aberdeen, this home offers a brilliant taste to life in the countryside.
Blok Property Management
The Space:
Upstairs you will find 1 x king bedroom and 1 x futon sleeper.
Downstairs you will find 2 x king bedrooms and 3 x full size bathrooms, along with the living room, dining room and utility room.
We also have a travel cot available for younger guests.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property with the exception of the derelict stables to the left of the cottage. That area has been fenced off, and guests should NOT enter for their own safety.
The Neighborhood:
A very quiet neighbourhood with few residential properties nearby.
Getting Around:
The local town of Turriff is a 10 minute drive from the property and there you will find a Tesco Superstore, a few restaurants, the local hospital, sports centre and golf club.
The property itself is in a remote location with no access to buses or trains. You will need a car or taxi to get around.
Interaction with Guests:
Your Hosts will be available during office hours, and in the event of an emergency you will be given mobile numbers to contact.

A good start for a recent refurbishment. No doubt seating for the sun room and outside furniture will be available in due course which will certainly enhance the property. Garden furniture would improve residents stay given the beautiful surroundings. Lack of storage upstairs and sufficient seating and crockery we feel is not adequate for 8 people. We felt it was a lovely property more suited to perhaps 6 people than 8. We had a lovely stay.
