Helene's House Central Ubud Located 5BR Villa

Great breakfast, excellent coffee. The room size and fitout was generous and easy to live in. Lots of staff always on hand.

The house is in the main area of Ubud but it is still a long walk to the Palace. Also the large steel security gate came out of its track and fell on me, which was dangerous — they got it fixed immediately.

We stayed here during the off season and were lucky enough to be the only guests which made the experience feel so special. The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond for us nothing was ever too much trouble. We were constantly spoiled with fresh homemade popcorn and amazing breakfasts cooked by a private chef all of the options were delicious. The rooms were beautiful clean and comfortable and we loved the sweet welcome blessing and bracelets when we arrived. The rooftop jacuzzi pool table and games area were fantastic and so well looked after. We kept saying how perfect this place would be for a big family holiday as it really has something for everyone. We truly couldn’t fault a thing and want to thank the hosts from the bottom of our hearts for such a special stay in Ubud you were the highlight of our trip

Two families - 4 adults and 5 boys (7-17) for 5 unforgettable days. Facilities - as per photos. Distinctive styling, comfortable and amazing scents. Master bedroom needs to be seen in person to be truly appreciated. Common areas absolute joy - pool table and jacuzzi were highlight at night. Large TVs everywhere, soundbar, bluetooth boombox and a bar (BYOD) for amazing nights at the rooftop. Nintendo Switch and classic popcorn machine to kids' delight. Swimming pool and common areas - spotless. Location - on Bisma street, with everything in close proximity. Full loop from the villa via Monkey Forest street / Market / Ubud Palace / Bisma is exactly 3 kms. We walked everywhere and enjoyed it immensely. Grab/Gojek readily available - IDR 57k for a car within Ubud and around IDR15k for a bike - we only used couple of times. Amazing SPA 5 mins away (Putri Spa 2 / 3) on Bisma. Multiple great restaurants nearby. Padel court next door for around IDR 400k/hour. 15 min stroll to Monkey Forest. Very peaceful at night, minimal road noise and no disturbance during days. Staff - Risma and the team were what made our stay truly memorable. From the traditional welcoming ceremony (additional charge, pay it), to the amazing breakfast every morning (everything is great, smoothie bowl is from out of this world), through the cappuccino and the daily popcorn for the kids, everyone made us feel like home from day one. The staff got our wishes and created itinerary for us before we arrived. We did 80% of what was recommended, and all drivers and arrangements were super good with fair pricing. There was never a push to get anything/everything through them, just always available to help with smile and competence. The SPA and restaurant recommendations were spot on (Donna on Monkey street, do it). Laundry was done at extremely low cost. Nothing was a problem. Our 6th Bali visit, stayed in some exclusive places. Helene's the best we've been, by far.

Helene's House is a hidden gem in a wonderful location! I was stunned by the beauty emanating from every detail in the room to the fabulous pool and rooftop jacuzzi. The bed and linens offer the most restful sleep I've enjoyed in 3 months in Bali, and while you're tucked away in the tranquility of the walled garden, you can quickly reach anywhere in Ubud without worrying about traffic. The team is absolutely delightful, kind, and highly skilled in the culinary arts. This place is a pristine cocoon for the senses, and, most importantly, the energy matches the aesthetic. It's a 5☆+ experience. I am so grateful to discover it and share it with others!

Wow, what a beautiful stay! From the moment we arrived, we stepped into a place of calm. We came here hoping to slow down, reset, and enjoy a little slice of Ubud—and this place gave us all of that and more. This villa is pure magic—tucked right in the heart of Ubud, yet it feels like a private sanctuary. We were just a short walk away from some of Ubud’s most beautiful cafes, restaurants, spas, shops, and even the Ubud Palace—but once you step through the gate, the calm and care of this place wraps around you completely. The true luxury of this villa is in the details. You don’t just see the beauty—you feel it. Everything has been so thoughtfully considered by the owner—from the monogrammed bathrobes and the soft, refreshing room perfume to the dreamy sheets made from cotton, bamboo, and linen. Even the bathroom amenities are high-quality and carefully chosen. The staff—Risma, Tini, and Putu—were so kind, warm, and attentive. Whether it was a fresh cup of tea, a plate of fruit, or just a gentle smile, they made us feel so welcome and truly taken care of. We felt at home from the moment we arrived. This villa has everything: five beautifully appointed bedrooms, a cozy living room, and a spacious kitchen that’s perfect for cooking and gathering with friends. It’s fully equipped with everything you need—including a wine fridge for relaxed dine-in nights. From rooftop massage tables, a hot tub under the stars, and a billiards lounge, to quiet reading nooks and a sun-soaked pool with lush garden views—every corner invites you to unwind and enjoy. It was a stay we won’t forget. We’ll absolutely be back.

Staying at Helene’s House was a real treat. The breakfast each morning was a highlight—fresh, thoughtfully made by a private cook, and served with care. The staff were lovely—kind, attentive, and always a step ahead without being overbearing. The villa is tucked in central Ubud, just a short 5-minute walk to the Monkey Forest area, yet it feels calm and secluded. It’s spacious, quiet, and full of character. The design is quite different from the usual Bali villas—more classic, with a timeless charm and a touch of old-money elegance. The jacuzzi was perfect for unwinding, and the room smelled fresh and comforting from the moment we arrived. Everything about the stay felt easy, warm, and well thought out.

ビラは3階建で、とても大きな建物でした。ひとつひとつの部屋もとても広くて、ゆっくりと快適に過ごせる事ができました。スタッフ達は朝から美味しい朝食を用意してくれて、毎日部屋の掃除も綺麗にしてくれました。この施設とサービスでこの料金であれば、お得だと思います。

Tout a été absolument INCROYABLE et EXCEPTIONNEL. Nous nous sommes sentis dans un cocon grâce à la présence rassurante, bienveillante et très professionnelle de toutes les « employés de maison » qui ont été d’une extrême gentillesse que ce soit avec nous ou nos jeunes enfants. Le propriétaire de la maison est tout aussi accueillant et prévenant. Les pièces sont spacieuses, aménagées avec beaucoup de goût et de raffinements. État absolument impeccable. Plusieurs choix de petit-déjeuner servis avec de jolies présentations. Au delà de la sublime villa, la maison est très bien située, à quelques mètres du centre d’Ubud.
