I feel that I have been cheated by the Cork Street Hotel and also by the Zanzibar Gate.

I was unable to get into my room and had to book another hotel at $1500 Canadian for the night. I feel that the $430 Cdn paid for Cork Street was a total rip off, as was the ordinary room at the Zanzibar Gate Hotel at $1500 Cdn. I am exceedingly disappointed.

A reply to my frantic emails and phone calls for instructions how to get in.

Very poor communication and check in arrangements

Poor communication- difficult to collect keys Check in info only received less than 24hrs prior to arrival with info about charges for late check in and info that late check in is not guaranteed to be allowed! Concerning as a lone female traveller I sent several messages to the portal with no response - made for a very stressful day/journey. I has to abandon my tour to ensure i could arrive at check in desk in time - was very surprised to see there actually was staff there all night (i was advised differently - hence having to change/abandon my plans). Wasted one evening or my trip and caused a lot of stress as i was misinformed and check in info was very unclear and difficult to get hold of. Another example of incorrect info given is that in the info sent less than 24hrs prior to arrival it encourages use of the message portal and promises a quicker response than the telephone number, however this was totally incorrect i sent several messages that were not responded to - and ended up having to call. Was also given incorrect info when i called. Also the smoke alarm went off at around 6am in the Morning.

Not at par with money I spent.

The bathroom sink was clogged, and the property management's response was very slow. I submitted a complaint in the afternoon, but they didn’t send anyone to fix it until the next day. Additionally, the shower wasn’t producing hot water when I reported the issue, but they said they could only address it the following day. Toiletries were also not regularly provided.

Half way through my stay the electrical sockets failed on the floor leaving no power for charging devices or hairdryers etc. It also tripped the water heater so there was no hot water for the second day onwards are repairs could not be conducted before the end of my stay, this was not too much of an inconvenience as the temperature outside was such that cold showers were a preference to hot, though the lack of charging points would have been an issue if I had not brought fully charge battery banks.

Great value for money!

The location was ideal. Not too close and not too far from Dublin's key tourist attractions, including Trinity College, St Patrick Cathedral, and Temple Ba. My room was clean and a descent size. The receptionists proved quite helpful.

I respectfully suggest that the hotel's check-in (16:00) and check-out (10:00) time policy be re-evaluated to better accommodate guests, particularly those arriving from far places after flights exceeding 20 hours. Additionally,it would be highly beneficial for the hotel to offer a dedicated storage facility. Thank you.

harassment every day

I found the accommodation easily. It is relatively close to the center.

They sent messages every day and harassed me every day, if you leave late we will fine you 50 euros, if you leave trash we will fine you 25 euros etc. They charged me 136 euros for cleaning but the room was very dirty, when I first entered there were people's dirt and hair on the bed. There was no trash can or trash bag in the room, I have never paid more and had such a bad accommodation experience anywhere in the world, they always harassed me with messages

È andata bene ma non ci tornerei

Struttura nuova, si tratta di una residenza universitaria che durante l’estate affitta le camere agli esterni. Il posto è giovanile, fresco e moderno, gestito da ragazzi; si trova a circa 20 minuti a piedi dal centro e vicino a fermate bus che ti portano ovunque.

Le camere d’estate sono molto calde e non c’è aria condizionata, non è possibile richiedere un cuscino in più. In una settimana che ho alloggiato nella struttura niente cambio lenzuola, niente pulizie, niente cambio asciugamani, un solo rotolo di carta igienica per 7 giorni, kit doccia ridotto all’osso, niente frigo bar in camera e divieto di usare la cucina. Check in alle 16 e Chek out alle 10 del mattino, orari molto scomodi, se vuoi restare qualche ora in più devi pagare, se lasci la spazzatura in camera ti addebitano una tariffa (in camera c’è il cestino ma non il sacchetto), non c’è possibilità di lasciare le valigie quando fai il check out. Insomma, prezzi da hotel ma trattamento da ostello.

バス停が近くてすぐ移動ができました。お部屋も綺麗で心地よかったです。

学生が主に来ると言うので仕方がないかもしれないのですが、下で卓球などをやっていて、夜遅くまですごく騒いでいたことがあって眠れなかったです。あと窓を開けたくても開けたらすごく騒がしいので、窓も開けられませんでした。
