Very nice owner. Quiet, safe neighbourhood. Suburban-like, but with decent amenities close by.

The room was very basic and bathroom had other’s towels and toiletries in it. Not a major issue, but felt like intruding on someone’s home space.

Met all of our needs and cleanliness standards, yet does not impress.

All basic needs were met and we felt safe and comfortable in this homestay. Room & bathroom were tidy and clean enough. Host was friendly, though distant due to a language barrier. All necessary information was communicated via a typed sheet in English.

This stay does not go above & beyond for comfort, ambiance, or experience. It is cheap and convenient and you get what you pay for, definitely not a 5-star hotel or intimate homestay experience.

I should have read the reviews more thoroughly

The location of the property was decent, only 30/40 mins into city centre on the bus.

The rooms left a lot to be desired. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky, the bathroom tap was missing its handle, and the bathroom itself was worse for wear. We weren’t certain of the cleanliness of the sheets but needs must. I stayed here with 3 of my friends, but had I stayed here alone I certainly would have left and paid the extra for a hotel. There were 3 men living in the property, all nice enough, but it did mean that we felt very intrusive using the bathroom and kitchen. There was also a huge dog who was sweet and stayed out of the way - we’re all dog people so this didn’t bother us, but if you don’t like bully breeds I would probably avoid staying here. We used it as a locker for the weekend and for the price it was what it was, but the pictures and description don’t really match the property at all.

My new go-to spot when going to Dublin

Clean, the host is fab, wonderful person to have a chat with. It was also very comfortable and It felt like home. Location is great, safe neighborhood for a nice stroll. The sheets and towels were clean and smelling very good.

There was a did g as as a single discrete were men there I left I only stayed one night . Very basic room a door in my bedroom had a punch mark in it which made me feel very uneasy . No tv in the room

There was no breakfast offered. Available at short notice as our planned air B&B was not available on arrival.

Easy to get into Dublin centre by bus.

Greeted by father, who could hardly speak English. He showed us to our room it was very basic only wardrobes and 2 single beds no tea making facilities. In checking the matresses. They were covered in stains, looked like urine, and blood( only fit for the dump)🤢 Only a sheet covering the mattresses. One bed had a bent frame, and matress springs had lost its spring. We slept on top of the quilts. We had blankets of our own that we used. The father said his son would be back soon in very bad English. We presume he was the proprietor. The son came back, and we never saw anything of him. We didn't know if we could use the kitchen to make a drink, and we felt we couldn't as the door was always shut. The bathroom was OK. The bathroom sink had lots of cracks in it, no plug. The shower was OK. We were never made to feel welcome. DO NOT TO STAY HERE!!!!!! We booked 3 nights but left after 2. Lost the money for 3rd night. Dublin was great

When I returned after buying some water for the night at 20:49, I opened the main door and saw an XL French Bull on the stairs. It growled at me, so I immediately closed the door and stayed outside. Then the man who had done the awkward check-in earlier (wearing pajama bottoms, barefoot, barely speaking—mostly using gestures and facial expressions—and pretending not to speak English, though I’m sure he does) came and mumbled that the dog was friendly. I told him this was never mentioned in the listing. I went upstairs, but I couldn’t stop wondering where the dog was or how I’d safely use the toilet during the night or morning. Within seconds, my instinct very strongly told me to leave—I felt something wasn’t right, and I didn’t want to risk staying. Honestly, the strange vibe from the people who opened the door when I first arrived had already made me uneasy: three men opened the door, I said I had a reservation, and they shut it again until the pajama guy arrived. So I grabbed my luggage and left. I didn’t leave lightly—I left because I genuinely felt trapped and unsafe. I ended up booking a place 100 km away, as I had no other choice on a Friday night at 20:50. You can see in my reviews that it was a same-night stay. The day after, I contacted the host via the number on Booking.com. This person said the dog only barks and growls when people are outside, but once you’re inside, it wouldn’t. The host refused any refund and said it wasn’t his fault because I made the decision to leave—he told me to take it further. This is definitely NOT a place for girls, students, or families. Maybe okay for a male solo traveler who is comfortable with XL French Bull dogs, but it was not the experience I expected.

Tranquilo y acogedor.

Muy buen trato por parte del dueño y la cocina estaba completa de todo lo que hacía falta para cocinar , era muy amable y te ofrecia todo lo que tenia .Su perro muy noble y muy bueno. Ubicacion a las afuera pero muy buena comunicación con transporte publico y una casa y un barrio muy tranquilos y pegado a un pequeño centro comercial.

La ubicación a solo 40 minutos del centro en bus, vecindario muy tranquilo y la atención del personal muy correcta.

La cama está bastante vieja, hace mucho ruido y puede ser molesto, nada grave pero se podría mejorar.
