Convenient and clean place of stay, with all the amenities you would need!

Liked the location, which was walking distance to the train station, especially if you had friends staying in nearby towns you were meeting. The place was modern, and had all the amenities (including a washing machine, no dryer, though drying lines are provided on the balcony) that one would require in a 5-nights stay. The host Paolo was excellent and helpful, even turning up at the property for my last minute booking to ensure I had everything I needed for my stay. Anything that needed addressing was promptly done within the day which was hugely appreciated.

This wasn't the fault of the host, but the hotel next door had a party on the Saturday night which went on with the last loud party-goers leaving at 1:30am. The music was loud and thumping up until 1am. I'm told this doesn't usually happen as Bellano is a quiet town. Otherwise Bellano is a good location if you do not fancy the crowds of Varenna or other busier towns around Lake Como. Train tickets were harder to purchase in Bellano, as the ticket stand was within a caffe/bar in the station which also wasn't open on a Sunday. My advice would be to purchase train tickets using the ticket machines in Varenna ahead of your planned travel times. Buying train tickets from the Varenna ticket helpdesk actually costs more as they add administrative charges. Overall, restaurants were of a higher standard in Varenna than in Bellano, so would advise eating there rather than in Bellano most days.

Muy cómodo y bonito, con todo lo necesario para una estancia de varios días, el anfitrión nos hizo el favor de recoger nuestras maletas en varenna y llevarlas al hospedaje lo que nos ahorro mucho tiempo para conocer el lago. Lo único que le agregaría a la estancia sería una plancha para la ropa

A mi y a mi esposo nos encantó todo, muy bonito, muy limpio y una excelente ubicación… los espacios son un poco estrechos (para nosotros no es problema pero se que para otros si) aun así creo que vale 100% la pena
