Urban Flat 198 - Townhouse Basfroi

Lovely area, lots of great restaurants. Clean, well laid out, comfortable.

Took too long to fix the internet which was down for about 5 days. Had this not happened I would give the apartment an excellent rating.

Nous n’avons pas trouvé le fer à repasser, quelques marmites classiques seraient bien, il y a des travaux sur la maison à côté, les bruits très tôt le matin n’est pas sympa

The spaciousness! Had lots of extra towels, the convenience of the door and location is pretty good. Had TV, nice shower - recommend this place for sure.

The way the appliances and cupboards were just random and some bad finishings from the kitchen like on the floor. Also need more mirrors especially full length mirror.

The property is very centrally located, and Apartment A itself is nice, spacious, and comfortable.

Unfortunately, our experience was negatively affected by the extreme heat in Paris during our stay and, even more so, by how the situation was handled. We stayed during several very hot days when Paris was under a heat advisory. We understand that the apartment does not advertise air conditioning, and we knew that when booking. However, there was only one small fan for the entire apartment. Members of our family have asthma, so the excessive heat made the first few days of our stay extremely uncomfortable. I understand that Paris may not traditionally experience this kind of weather, but temperatures are changing and heat waves are becoming more common. When operating a vacation rental, I believe the property should be reasonably prepared for these situations, especially by having enough fans available for the number of rooms and guests. What made the situation worse was the communication. Trying to get assistance was a nightmare. We felt like we were constantly being passed from one person to another, and unfortunately, neither the property management nor Booking was able to provide a reasonable solution. We asked whether we could be moved to another property, but that did not happen. We were also told that another fan would be ordered, but it never arrived during our stay. At that point, we considered simply going to a store and purchasing a fan ourselves, but I don’t believe guests should have to buy basic equipment for an apartment they are renting. We also had an uncomfortable experience on the day of checkout. We asked about a late checkout and initially were told one price, around €30, and later the amount changed to €100. At 11:00 a.m., the cleaning staff began knocking on our door and then remained outside waiting until we left. Having people standing directly outside the apartment while we were trying to finish packing made us feel rushed and uncomfortable.
