Zimmer modernisiert, gut erreichbar und in der Nähe der Familie.

Es war recht heiß und eines der Zimmer war ohne Badezimmer, dieses befand sich auf dem Gang, ein Gemeinschaftsbad.

A nice hotel in a very green part of Freiburg, right in the middle of the sports park. The area has a lovely atmosphere, with lots of people training and enjoying the outdoors. It’s an especially good choice if you have a bike: the city centre is only about 10 minutes away by bike, and the journey is really pleasant, with the bike path following a route along the river. If you don’t have a bike, there’s also a tram connection that takes you directly to the city centre and the main railway station, so getting around is very easy. The room and bathroom are functional but comfortable, and a great plus is that guests can use both the indoor swimming pool and sauna free of charge.

The only downside is that the rooms don’t have air conditioning, which could make the stay challenging during a heat wave. Luckily, we had a week with pleasant temperatures, so it wasn’t an issue for us.

Het hotel was prettig, netjes en we hebben ons verblijf als comfortabel ervaren. Ook was ik aanvankelijk erg blij met de behulpzaamheid toen bleek dat ik mijn camera in de hotelkamer had laten liggen en deze gelukkig was gevonden.

Helaas is de afhandeling daarna erg teleurstellend verlopen. Er werd via WhatsApp afgesproken dat mijn camera naar mij zou worden opgestuurd, maar inmiddels zijn we vier weken verder en heb ik nog steeds niets ontvangen. De WhatsApp-berichten verdwenen na 7 dagen en inmiddels krijg ik ook geen reactie meer op mijn berichten via WhatsApp of Booking.com. Ik hoop daarom dat het hotel alsnog contact met mij opneemt en mijn camera naar mij opstuurt.
