De Nest - Clear Glass Tree Cabin

Very private and cosy, the glass cabin is the main attraction but the outdoor bath, fire pit and outdoor seating areas are just as magical. Waking up under the trees and taking a late night bath under the fairy lights was an unforgettable experience

De Nest is one of the most magical and beautifully thought-out places we’ve ever stayed. It truly feels like stepping into a little fairytale, with so much care and attention to detail that it becomes an unforgettable experience.

We had cold water on our first night & following morning, but the owner responded promptly and replaced the gas bottle. De Neat has a microwave, kettle and braai, a toaster would have been a nice addition for breakfast. The only aspect we felt could have enhanced the experience was a greater sense of seclusion. We tend to enjoy stays that feel a little more tucked away from the road and main house, but that’s simply a personal preference rather than a criticism of the property itself.

Beautiful romantic getaway location, secluded, quiet, private and intimate. Owners were thoughtful in every detail attentive to questions and helpful with recommendations when needed. 11 out of 10.

Really nothing not to like.

A wonderful experience, sleeping under the trees. Tranquil, peaceful and quiet. The perfect break from the city. We were lucky to have the most perfect weather during our stay, so I really enjoyed the outdoor bath. The sound of running water from the fountain was also very soothing. Lovely place in an awesome setting. We slept like babies in the very comfortable bed.

No milk for coffee and tea. No salt and pepper and no drying up cloth or drying rack for the dishes. I'm not sure if it would be very enjoyable if it rained, but we were lucky with the weather. I would still recommend it.
