Drie Kuilen Nature Reserve

The location was absolutely amazing and private. Easy access to where the wood is stored, and the little supply shop. Gravel roads are well maintained and parking is also very close to the facility. Once we had reached the unit, I was surprised by a beautiful birthday/anniversary card and flowers. This was greatly appreciated.

Upon arrival, everything was perfect. However, we later noticed we had no towels and had to go ask the host for some. The gas heater stopped working after two nights of our five night stay, but the fireplace made up for it. The electric blankets in the master bedroom were not turning on and we also had the electricity trip once in the kitchen. We could only stream something on the TV at night, as the wifi had some difficulty with connection. It did however work on our other devices.

The property is extremely well looked after and has all the amenities you could possibly need! There is loads of space and privacy which was lovely.

Good nature seem like out from city and in somewhere very peaceful good for heath and soul

Everything convinced

It’s in the middle of nowhere. Amazing night sky.

A group booking of 6 were spread into 2 houses 20 minutes drive from one another. One had no internet or phone connection so we couldn’t even keep in contact with one another. It’s very far out of the way and from the actual location on google maps to the office is another 20 mins drive on poor dirt roads. Both our houses were infested with flies and mosquitoes. One of the houses was very modern and comfortable whilst the other was very old. Big contrast in the lodgings offered and very upsetting to be separated like this. We would not stay again.
