Starry Starry Night - Route 62

We loved the fact that the unit is stand alone and separated from any other units. We LOVED the dome-bedroom with the most beautiful views, any time of the day or night.

Nothing is missing if you come here to relax, to de-stress and to search for only the sound of nature. A true gem!

Well, we did not have the breakfast but the platter was lovely. We had it late afternoon at the Boma and Hot tub. Our favourite activity was the hike we took down to the waterfall all along the river. Superb!

The weather was a bit overcast and we did not see the stars. Not your fault though! The shower was intermittently hot and cold. The draining of both shower and basin in bathroom was slow so you ended up ankle deep in water in the shower.

Starry Starry Night was an absolute highlight of our trip from the very first moment! Our stay at Starry Starry Night on Route 62 exceeded all our expectations. From the handwritten welcome note to the friendly staff and the warm greeting from the farm dogs and cat, every detail made us feel genuinely welcome and at home. The accommodation was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The peaceful setting was perfect for relaxing, and the night sky was truly breathtaking—an unforgettable place for stargazing. We only wish we had stayed longer! We’d highly recommend booking at least three nights to really enjoy everything this beautiful area has to offer. Starry Starry Night is a special place, and we left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to our next visit.

Being surrounded by nature and having options for different hiking routes was the highlight. We never saw the hosts but the persons assigned to take care of us was only a message away.

The road uphill was a little scary (single track) with almost no options to pass should a car come from the other side. Luckily we never had to experience that.
