Swaynekloof Farm

This is such a gem of a place. Lovely comfortable and clean cottage with everything you need. With a 2 beautiful areas to sit outside with lovely views over the valley. Great value for money.

The double bed was a bit uncomfortable. Needs replacing.

Meals were not included. The guest house is located very close to the nearest town

The accommodation met all our own expectations. No recommendations for anything to be improved.

The beauty and serenity of the location, and simplicity of the setting. I enjoyed having limited connectivity and rarely used the WiFi. The garden was incredibly well maintained and my dog had a blast running around. I loved the braai area and the protected hiking path was a welcome surprise for me as a solo female traveller. I had everything I needed on the farm. It was absolutely wonderful.

I knew there would be bats around the cabin, but i didn't realise that they slept underneath the floor boards in within the cabin walls (or between the structure and the facade). The bats would sqeak and scurry about at night, which was unnerving until i got used to them.

I rented Swaynehuis and Green Cottage for my family. Both units were comfortable and well equipped. I stayed in Swaynehuis (main house) and every little need was accommodated for. Lea (our hostess) was super attentive from the time of booking and throughout our stay. The farm is gorgeous and tranquil. The main house is clean, spacious and beautiful with a private swimming pool. The best for me, was that our furkids were welcome and our 2 Jack Russell babies, enjoyed every moment!We can't wait to visit again in Summer! Thank you Lea and Team for an amazing experience and phenomenal stay at your farm!

There was nothing we didn't like, but I would like to recommend khoi khoi woodfired hot tubs at the units especially during the Winter months...that would truly elevate the experience! Hot tubs coupled with those views would be absolute top shelf!
