We were in Vineyard Villa 2, which was perfect for a long weekend getaway for a young family of 4. The cabin is comfortable and well equipped and we enjoyed the wood fired hot tub.
Stanford Hills Estate has lots to offer: hiking, restaurant, playground, and the kids enjoyed petting the farm animals. There was also quad biking and horse riding on offer on-site.
Finally, well located, within 5min drive of Stanford village.
A couple things that would’ve further enhanced our stay: a second set of towels for hot tub / longer stays; a key to lock bathroom door.
Regarding the hot tub, you’re just going to have to persevere, it’s worthwhile though.

Beautiful old house. Comfortable, with great stoep and swimming pool!
The water from the taps were brown, and we were nit warned about this. Also the warm water was very scarce..

The homely atmosphere and spacious Manor Home was awesome. Pool and hot tub was enjoyable. Peaceful surroundings and our team enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable and you have everything available to enjoy a braai and entertain.
Due to some water restrictions some toilet issues understandably it was attended to.

The rooms were not very clean. There was a lot of ants on the bedding. The bedding was stained. The hot tub was dirty and the water smelled.
