Brand New Studio, Nice 06000, three hundred meters from the sea in Carre d'or

It was a cozy place very near the beach, so excellent location. The host Manou was very sweet and accommodating.

The shower had very low water presser for being an old building and on the top floor.

The location is absolutely the 10/10 highlight of this property. It is extremely central, just a few steps away from Nice’s boulevard and therefore from the beach, a few steps from the pedestrian street full of restaurants, shops, and everything you may need, as well as very close to supermarkets. Most importantly, it is only a 10-minute walk from the train station, which makes it incredibly easy to travel around the French Riviera. The owner was absolutely available, helpful, and super friendly throughout the stay.

What I liked less about the property was mainly the limited equipment and facilities available. There is no real kitchen area, but rather a small fridge, a toaster, and a Nespresso coffee machine. Because of this, it feels more like a spacious room with an equally large bathroom rather than a true apartment. Another small downside was a rather persistent smell of smoke in the studio’s upholstery and fabrics. Finally, the portable air conditioner was a bit too noisy.
