The location is amazing and the pictures are true. The two bedrooms have low, slanted ceilings, so you cannot stand up in them. The mattresses are on the floor. There is an opening between the two bedrooms (with some sort of portable furnace in the opening), so there is no real privacy. Noises go right through.It was warm when we were there, but there was a fan to encourage airflow, which we greatly appreciated. It was about to get hot in Paris (not just warm), and I don't think we could survive in that heat, as the apartment is right under the roof and heats up quickly.The thing that was not clear from the listing is that it is up 5/6 flights of narrow spiral staircase. It was difficult to get a large suitcase up (had to hold it over our heads). We managed it, but give us 10 yrs and there is no way we could have stayed in this place. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The place was clean. We would stay again if we are still able to handle the stairs.
