The apartment was spacious and tastefully decorated. We felt right at home. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked a couple simple meals here. The neighborhood was not touristy at all.

Josepha was a great host! I planned to arrive early and she was very accommodating. It was tough getting up to the 4th floor, but the place was very well kept and homey. The location was easy to access several Metro lines and I would be happy to stay here again.

I travelled with my family of 4 to Paris, 2 adults and 2 teenage boys 15 and 13. Emmanuel’s apartment is in a quiet safe neighborhood easy to find the metro and all places needed for a 5 night stay in Paris. The apartment is lovely and is the quintessential Parisian apartment; spiral staircase to the apartment floor, large windows for wonderful breezes that cross through the apartment beautiful views of the gardens below. We stayed during July open windows are the best for a cool night breeze. It was a perfect place for us to return to after a full day of site seeing. I recommend and will stay here again.

We loved this little apartment! It's a great neighborhood (the 11th) which isn't super touristy but is filled with good stores, restaurants, boulangeries, cheese shops, and so on. We walked almost everywhere including to the Marais and the Left Bank, but it was also a quick walk to the Metro. The apartment itself was perfect for 2 people, lots of light and air, a little kitchen (which we hardly used but had everything we would have needed if we had cooked anything), a great living/dining room for hanging out. We didn't even mind the 4th-floor walkup because it made us feel very French. We would definitely stay here again.

A charming apartment, well suited for the three of us, which had everything we needed and where we felt right at home. The host Josépha was very nice and welcoming. The apartment was was indeed very calm and in the morning the sun popped in, which was lovely :). I would definitely stay here again.

This apartment was as advertised. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to stay again. It is in a wonderful neighborhood near the Marche d'Aligre with many nice restaurants and bistros nearby. Note that it is on the fifth floor (4 floors over the ground floor) and there is no elevator. This was not an issue for us, but it could be for others. The building was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped and we appreciated the basics waiting for us like olive oil, tea, mustard and hot chocolate. Two nits: I wish there had been a cutting board in the kitchen and the internet was slow in the evening. I think the wifi may be shared with another unit. All in all, a nice place to stay.

The charming apartment is located just half a block and easy walking to stores and restaurants. Our host was warm, welcoming and very helpful. We absolutely loved our stay. This home is on the 4th floor with no elevator, which is just nice to know when packing and planning.

Excellent communication between the host and us prior to and during the stay. The apartment is on the 5th floor (4me etage) but you get used to it soon. The neighborhood is great for walking and exploring, far from tourists yet close to the metro to get to all the attractions. If you don't mind walking and climbing stairs, I recommend this apartment.

Basic budget apartment - quiet building

Overall an okay apartment with no frills. A 5-minute walk to the nearest metro stop which was convenient. A few fun restaurants and bars nearby, plus stores for groceries including Marks and Spencers Food. Here are a few somewhat minor things to be aware of that we encountered: It is on the 4th floor with spiral stairs the entire way which can be a real workout - especially with luggage - no lift available. The toilet seat was broken. Toilet paper dispenser was empty but spare rolls were supplied. Peeling paint in bathroom and bedroom. One of the previous visitors (we presume) put dirty dishes away into the cabinet. Be careful not to stub your toe on the kitchen floor as it has a lip that sticks up and two of us hurt our feet. A dishwasher is included, which is a great convenience. Be sure to ask for instructions on how to operate the stove top. We were not able to figure out how it worked until the second day. The hosts were easy to reach by email/text and responded to questions and concerns. The biggest issue we had was having to wait 2 1/2 hours after our agreed-upon arrival for someone to show up and let us into the property, which impacted our plans. It may have been out of the control of the hosts, however, as some climate demonstrations had caused traffic disruptions. However, it would be much more customer friendly if a lock box with a key in it could be installed to avoid this kind of problem in the future. The hosts gave us a gift which was a nice gesture as an apology and was appreciated.

We were four friends traveling in Paris and this apartment was perfect for us. The apartment was very clean, had a beautiful decor and all the things you need for your stay. Also a baby bed in case you need one :) The little courtyard was super cute! The separate toilet and shower was very useful for four girls ;) The location was good, a quiet street near Metro Ledru-Rollin and a walking distance from Bastille where you can find many bars, cafes, shops.. Big Monoprix just close by and cute very Parisian restaurants as well. The area is also good for shopping. We did not meet Emmanuel but Josepha who was waiting for us at the apartment when we arrived on the evening of Epiphany. She is living right above the apartment, very convenient. She was really sweet and helpful. This apartment gets our recommendations and we would definetely stay there again. Merci Josepha et Emmanuel! :)

Das Apartment befindet sich in einer ruhigeren Seitenstraße in einem lebhaften Viertel. Geschmackvolle und zweckmäßige Einrichtung im französischen Stil. Genau richtig für eine Woche. Eine Vielzahl Restaurants, Bars, Bäcker und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe. Josepha hat uns herzlich empfangen und den kurzzeitig defekten Ventilator mit Magie repariert. Perfekte Verständigung auf Englisch. Top Empfehlung!

FR: La position est parfait, tout prêt de la place de la Bastille, beaucoup de restaurants, bars et magasins, parking prive' et métro... L’appartement est propre et bien rangé, mail il y a un gros problème (que on a signalé à la propriétaire) avec le lit de la chambre a coucher qui est pratiquement inutilisable, le matelas est tellement déformé que on arrivait pas a dormir, le mal de dos assuré. C'est absolument à changer, sinon l’appartement et l’expérience globale étais parfait. EN: Excellent location, close to "Place de la Bastille", an area full of restaurants, bars and shops, a private parking and metro station... The apt was clean and nicely furnished, but there is a big issue (duly communicated to the landlord) with the bed of the main bedroom. The mattress is so deformed that you can barely sleep on it, you end up with backpain.. it should be replaced asap, otherwise the apt and the general experience would have been perfect.

Wir haben eine Woche in der Wohnung verbracht und wurden sehr nett betreut. Die Wohnung bietet alles um einen schönen Parisaufenthalt zu genießen. In der Umgebung gibt es alles um sich selbst zu versorgen, die Metro ist schnell zu Fuß erreicht. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Nous avons vraiment apprécié,l'endroit,l'accueil ainsi que la confiance du propriétaire lors de notre départ.A recommander pour des spectacles a Berçy qui n'est qu'à 1Km800 a pied. Seul bémol ,apres avoir marché 15 Km tous les jours,les 4 etages qui nous attendes a l'arrivée.

Wir hatten einen angenehmen Kontakt zu der Vermieterin Josepha. Sie übergab uns anfangs die Schlüssel, zeigte uns die Wohnung, wie man den Herd benutzt und gab uns ein paar Tipps zur Besichtigung des Viertels. Sie war sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Sie blieb während des Aufenthalts immer erreichbar. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber gemütlich und sauber, für ein paar Nächte zu viert für uns völlig ausreichend. Im Bad blättert die Farbe ab, auch im Schlafzimmer, es wirkt, als sei dort ein Wasserschaden gewesen. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Toll fand ich insbesondere, dass alle Dinge des täglichen Lebens vorhanden waren: Klopapier, Seife, Küchenpapier, Essig, Öl, Salz, Müsli, Zucker, Kaffee, Spülmaschinentabs, Mülltüten.

Casa come nella.descrizone con qualche particolare migliorabile, tipo una perdita sul soffitto del bagno. Posizione ottima, vicino a diverse metro e con bar, ristoranti e supermercati a disposizione. Ottima sistemazione, visto anche il buon prezzo. Attenzione ai 4 piani di scale a piedi..non ler tutti!;-)
