The hotel is located in the center of Canazei and it is in a wonderful building. The room in which we stayed, was in the main building, and was very big, included a hidden small kitchenette and a very spacious bathroom. For sure some improvements can be done, but we enjoyed the room anyhow. Good sound proof of the room, especially that the window was towards the street, we didn’t hear any noise that bother us, nor from the other rooms. It has also a restaurant, that can be accessed from the lobby of the hotel, with good food and nice staff. Being in the center, you are very close to other restaurants, bars or playground from the near park(4min walk).
First, the parking information from booking is wrong. There is a very, very limited free parking spots at the hotel area and some paid places in a garage(9euro/day) - but these are also limited. So although, you contact the property to mention that you need parking, you can have the surprise you actually don’t and you are sent to park in a public parking, behind the hotel;but there is a catch, you have to move your car in the morning, until 9am, so you don’t get a fine. I find this not ok for the guests and I don’t book a 4star hotel, to haunt parking spots. I would have like to know this information ahead the booking.
Second, it was the breakfast. It depends in which restaurant you take the breakfast, as there are 2, one for the B&B guests and one for the HB guests-this is what we have been told by the staff and redirected from 1restaurant to another. 2 days we took the breakfast in one restaurant where, although we were there at 9am( breakfast is until 9:40) you didn’t had to much to choose from, as most of the dish were finished and these were not refilled. You felt you were eating leftovers. More so, the tables were cleaned, tablecloths were changed right there(preparing for lunch) with the guests eating and if any guest were coming after 9am for the breakfast - the staff were very annoyed and rude. The last day we eat at the second restaurant, where there was another story.. plenty of diverse food, refill, you could even do your own juice and no one rushed you to finish eating. As a conclusion, for a 4star hotel, with the prices that you pay, I find it really disrespectful the way it is handled the parking and especially the breakfast, therefore I do not recommended, nor book again this hotel.

the only thing I liked about the hotel was the view from the balcony - it faces the mountain and the park next by and this is the only positive thing I can say...
The hotel is very old and everything needs attention - renovating the rooms/update the furniture, the bathroom, the facilities, the furniture in the common areas, literally everything...including the staff. The staff at reception did not speak English. The staff members at breakfast are extremely rude and don't care about you. At check in there was no explanation about anything - where to park, where to go to get to your room (as there is an Annex building and that's where our room was. There is not way to get to there without an explanation unless you want to carry your suitcases along the stairs, but the reception person did not say anything - just gave us a key and went back to flirting with his colleague. Not to mention that during checking us in, he continued speaking loudly to her through an open door for about 3-5 minutes in the middle of doing his job.
To summarize: it felt like a complete chaos and no order, and nobody cared or did what their job is - everything just happening and you have to be the one to ask, inquire, make sure you know what to ask for.
We will never come back to this hotel - there are so many little charming accommodations where you could be appreciated and valued.
