Reasonable Price/Reasonale Stay

It's a good location, there are several hotels in the area and this one is definitely the cheapest. The hotel could use some renovations but also if they did that the price would probably go up so I think it's okay. Dubai is very expensive and it is difficult to find hotels for under $100 so this one really did the trick. We had a kitchen so we could cook our meals and have snacks, milk, juice in the fridge for our daughter. The pool is okay and the weight room as well, again- if you're looking for something more reasonable, this will be your best bet. It's close to the metro as well.

There was a little roach in the kitchen on the first day but I didn't see it again, we stayed 6 days.

Decent Accommodation with all the necessary household amenities.

The location of the hotel is perfect. It is a stone throw away from the Metro station and the Mall of the Emirates. The room was super big, it has all the necessities even a washing machine, an iron and a washing rack. The balcony was big enough. I loved the pool as well (although the water was hot - might be the weather). I had a nice relaxation. I arrived early and my room was ready and I was able to check in early at no extra charge - I really appreciated that. Reception staff was super helpful and friendly too.

Good location, good value

The location of the hotel was good, between the Insurance Market (closer) and Mall of Emirates Metro stations. There are many eateries and tea houses around the lodging as well. The hotel isn't that new but more importantly they're clean as was the room and had everything we needed. The kitchen and washing machine are convenient facilities to have as was the hanging rack. Staff were attentive and helpful.

The heavy curtains couldn't be drawn close fully and we were unsure if folks across could see into the unit. The water pressure was acceptable if a little low. Finally, noise insulation was poor - honking on the streets outside can be intrusive but only limited to hours when we're already up or right before we call it a night.

Spacious room

A very friendly receptionist made my stay comfortable. Clean spacious room, in addition to expected stuff equipped with an ironing board, an iron and a drying rack. Kitchen had a coking stove with basic set of kitchenware.

Only one towel (large) for the whole room. Do not expect frills in the kitchenette as you rent not from a private owner: no kitchen towels, no sponges, no cleaning liquid or salt. I am a fan of firm mattresses but this one was even firmer :) My room appeared quite noisy with sounds coming both from the busy street outside and from the corridor.

Good location, clean and comfortable.

Short walk from metro station, shops and restaurants nearby, walking distance to Dubai Mall. We rented an apartment which was specious. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was functioning including smoke alarm. The outside pool was heated with comfortable temperature.

Had a long stay here when I first moved to Dubai. Good value and great central location close to the Metro and Mall of Emirates. The staff were always super friendly and even gave me a complimentary room upgrade. Recommended!

Very good and enjoyed the stay. Spacious studio apartment.

Location is very good since it is 5 minutes walk to Mall of the emirates, metro station, quick exit to Sheikh Syed road etc.

It would have been better if the cleaning and changing of tower on daily basis instead of alternative days. The property is very safe since it is allowed for only family and men are not allowed if any woman stays in this hotel apartment.

Not satisfied with the stay. Cleaning not good bugs in room and nearby lift. On request they chaged the room due to bugs

There were bugs in a room. After 24hrs i complaint and they changed the room. The other was okay. But they didn’t provide water on 1 bottle at the time of checkin. They are not cooperative. We misplaced a key in a room they misbehaved there is my flight they are supposed me to stay and wait to find the room key. Its white card key not that much expensive but they insist to return a key or pay for it. Well not happy with the behavior and cooperation.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Stay at Akas-Inn Hotel Apartment (10th May – 6th June) Dear Management of Akas-Inn Hotel Apartment, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with aspects of my family’s recent 27-day stay at your property. While we appreciated certain features of the accommodation, two significant issues severely impacted our experience: Limited Cleaning Service: Cleaning was provided only twice weekly. While we understand this may be hotel policy, the frequency was inadequate for a long-term stay. Unprofessional Front Desk Behavior: This was the most distressing issue. Throughout our stay, the Front Desk staff responded to basic requests (e.g., cleaning) with rudeness and disrespect. On multiple occasions, they remarked, “You are getting the room at a very cheap price already, and you are expecting a lot.” Let me clarify: The room rate was mutually agreed upon at booking; we did not unilaterally "demand" a low price. We paid in full for 27 days in advance, and staff salaries are funded by guest payments. Such comments are unprofessional and unacceptable. Request for Resolution: We expect a written apology from either the Front Desk staff involved or the Management for the repeated humiliation endured by my family. Given our loyalty to Booking.com (Genius Level 2), we have also escalated this matter to them and may reconsider our membership if this issue is not addressed. I trust you will treat this complaint with urgency. Please respond via email at your earliest convenience. my email "[email protected]" I request to booking.com also to take this a very serious. I am Genius Level 2 member, I may discontinue my membership if the apologies letter not been send to me from the Hotel (Akas-Inn Hotel Apartment).

All was fine. It is a family hotel but I haven’t seen any family. The pool is heated which was really great. The staff was helpful. I have received a room upgrade as the room type I have chosen was all occupied.

The hotel was really concerned about extra guests who are not welcome. It is understandable but they really said this often which was a bit annoying.

Got a room up grade which was great. Staff are fantastic. All receptionist are very well mannered and helpful. The porters with the luggage are top class . I cannot fault any of the staff. This is our regular hotel. Perfect position by the metro. 10 nin walk.

Once they falsely accused me of doing so, ringing me 5am in the morning & then knocking on my door- they had heard me speaking on loudspeaker phone to my female cousin in New Zealand (!)
